I'm going to post and run, but I need to get this out and I don't know where else to put it. Thanks in advance for "listening."
The pain that I posted about earlier got much worse and didn't let up, and my midwife told me to head to the emergency room. I did, and they did an ultrasound, suspecting a tubal pregnancy. I have a cyst which is probably causing the pain.
Also, there are 2 amniotic sacs in there. I am FLOORED. One baby has a heartbeat (98 bpm) and the other "baby" is just a yolk sac, with no identifiable fetus. The u/s tech told me that it's normal for one twin to be behind, and so for 45 minutes I processed as she looked at the other baby.
I got a call an hour ago saying that Baby B is not viable, and will probably be reabsorbed by my body. Baby A's heartbeat is "low" and baby A might not be viable.
I have a follow up u/s and appointment next Friday. I have so many mixed emotions. What I want right now is one healthy baby out of this. Please, please.
If you've got low fetal heart rate stories that resulted in healthy pregnancies, please tell me. I'm beside myself with worry. I know I shouldn't, but I'm holding out a teeny bit of hope for baby B, too.

I hung out on pg boards for many years and I've heard many stories of low heart rates and the women have healthy babies. I'll think positive thoughts for you. Hugs...

DD had a low heart rate. I can't remember exactly, but it was under 100 and I think they wanted to see at least 110. The week before I was 6w2d and there wasn't a heartbeat. The way I understood it is that sometimes when the heart first starts beating it can be a little slow. All of the following times they checked her heartbeat it was in the normal range.
Don't listen to them until its for sure, they do not know for sure any of what they said. Keep your mindset that you are having babies. Congratulations, prayers your way and good luck!!
Hoping all the best for you. I've heard of many low heartbeat stories. The fact that the baby HAS a heartbeat means you've got all kinds of odds on your side.
