julez I was told I would miscarry one of my twins for weeks and weeks. I told the doctor I needed numbers. She said there was a 95% chance baby B wouldn't make it. But he hung in there and is grabbing for my lap top as I type this.
Both my twins had low heart rates at the first appt which was at 6 weeks, 4 days-ish. As weeks went on, the heart rates were fine.
Lots and lots of positive vibes your way. Hoping for good news next week.

I had almost the same situation when I got pregnant with DS. I had a lot of bleeding during first tri because my body miscarried baby B instead of absorbing it. Other than that it was a very normal pregnancy, and DS was born healthy.
Sending you lots of good vibes that everything works out for you.
Thank you so much, everybody. You have no idea how much this all means to me. We're not really in a place where we're ready to talk about this to people yet, but I was feeling so overwhelmed and heartbroken yesterday, and your support really pulled me up out of my funk.
We spent the evening snuggling with DD and then went out for ice cream. Perfect.
I'm feeling more optimistic today. T minus six days until we get another look. Crossing everything that Baby A is healthy, and crossing everything that Baby B does what Baby B needs to do.

((hugs)) Thinking of you!
My RE wouldn't even give us a heartrate until we were in our 7th week. At 5 weeks he just said "look, there's a beating heart." At 6 weeks he told us it was in the 90s, said it was great and left it at that. Once we hit 7 weeks we started getting actual measurements.
SO many doctors won't even do an US until 7 weeks because of this exact situation.
