Violet is pretty active but she also will spend a decent amount of time sitting/standing and playing with a toy/book quietly for a while.
Same here.
I try to do a bunch of finger walking with her to get her energy out a bit. Audrey is actually more snuggly now! When she is tired she will come over and relax on my lap and suck her fingers for up to five minutes!! I am so happy to have a snuggly baby now as she hasn't allowed me to hold her on my lap since about 5 months old.

D was pretty mellow but her antics have increased quite a bit lately. However compared to her sister who.never.Fing.stops.talking.singing.whining.flailing around she is worlds more mellow. But, she can't walk yet.
Very active. Here's proof. We just had a poop explosion, and he was so crazy during it he ended up not dressed with a wipe package sticker on him. He is currently putting blocks under the coffee table. Diapers and baths and dressing is exhausting.
She's pretty active. Baths suck because I can't keep her sitting. Mainly we hang in the nursery and upstairs hallway because they are 100% baby proofed and she can cause havoc.
Lillian doesn't sit and play for long periods of time, it's usually only a few minutes. She's constantly touching and grabbing everything, running around like a wild animal. I feel like he doesn't sit still. She is pretty good in the bath though, she likes to be read to in the bath lol. We read the same one, Elmo Gets Clean, over and over. I will say Mickey Mouse clubhouse stops her in her tracks, well the beginning and ending songs.
She never stops. Running is her new trick. I'm really glad we have a small house and there are only so many rooms she can get into. When she gets tired sometimes she will come and rest in my lap, but that's rare. Baths would be really hard without a second person to help me!

Sophia goes through phases. She sounds a little more mellow than J, but her activity level definitely has increased now that she is more mobile. I do think part of the activity is their personality. Sophia is just a mellow baby compared to others I know IRL.
Jameson has always been a Tasmanian devil, and still is a disaster on two feet. Anna is muuuuuuch more mellow. She's a super snuggler and can sit and snack and watch a whole kid's show. Jameson just now will watch a whole show, and that doesn't happen often.

Oh ya, on a sad note...he is so active he doesn't cuddle me anymore, we used to nap together, now I cant get him to sit still in my lap longer than 2 seconds.
I would say neither of my kids are super active - DS1 was a clinger and never left my side for 2 years. He was/is very risk-averse. DS2 is a bit more independent, but he's always got one eye on me and will screech and follow me if I go to another room.
It's totally genetic, imo. I don't think there's much you can do to change them, either way.!
Very active indeed. And very dramatic. She doesn't really just sit there playing/focusing on something pretty much ever. Either she's trying to get at the dog water/food/empty the drawers/fall up or down stairs etc. or she goes and gets a book and comes to have me read it, then two pages in she flings it away, annoyed. Then retrieves it and demands I read it to her. Then, flings it away.
She seems to have a very short attention span, and a high desire for attention.
But she's happy, happy happy. shes great fun, we laugh at her antics all the time. and so easygoing... As long as she's getting what she wants of course.
Pilar is super active and I blame myself. My sister has a boy and a girl. Her boy is nonstop active, her girl is calm. When I was pregnant I told James I wanted a girl because they were calm. I got an active girl, that can hang with her three year old cousin. They love playing together.
