Thank you for all your good thoughts for Gus's MRI. The dr didn't see anything alarming on the results, which is such a huge relief! He is still concerned about G's small head size, so we are being referred to a geneticist but I think it will be months before we get an appointment. We have an appointment next week with the pediatrician for a head measurement. I am keeping my fingers and everything crossed that G just has a small head. We have now had 3 appointments with the developmental therapist and G loves her. She says that G has lots of great skills, which makes me feel good.
Anyway this was some great news for us after the week from hell last week.

I've been wondering about an update and I thought you posted in another thread today, so I hoped it was coning soon! Glad to hear it and that tough ordeal is behind you! I hope they can get you in for the other appointments quickly, but it's so great to hear how Gus is progressing.

I'm happy to read this. I do though get so frustrated when I hear how long people have to wait to be seen by specialists. Maybe you can get on a cancellation list. Good luck with your next check up!
I understand where your coming from but from the other end. Peyton's head was growing too quickly back around 6mos and we had to get it re-checked. He has had hernia surgery at 8 wks. He also suffers from a family eye disorder. And now he has to see a dermatologist b/c his hair texture changed and it is kind of wierd to rule out any type of mineral deficiency. I feel like it is always something that I get uptight about but it always turns out ok, or at least it is something you can deal with.
