MIL is considering moving to our town

She and DH and our realtor had a conf. call the other day about the market out here.  I think she's really going to do it, if the right house lists.  The market is nuts around here, but hopefully it'll work out

Yay!  I'm so excited to have a relative living nearby.  Our closest family right now is approximately 10 light years away.  And she's the most low-key person, ever.  I keep driving around, scoping out the houses in our neighborhood and willing them to go on the market.

My MIL lives 45 minutes away, and that's too close for us. Lol

Nice. My mom lives about 40 minutes away, and that is just right for us.

I'd personally have to abandon my career, hobbies, and friends if my MIL moved to town.

What kind of house does she want? Lot of stuff comes up around us, but tends to move quickly.

One of the little bungalows in our neighborhood that are on and off the market in 2 days, max.  LOL.  I'd really love her to be within walking distance, if possible.  But since they're tearing those effers down like hotcakes, we will have to move quickly.
