As far as I know this idea just popped into his head this week. Whatever. We live near lots of great bike trails, so who am I to stop him. I'll be miffed though if this hobby falls by the wayside in a month.
I pushed for the wagon/trailer thing. I figured this would be a good way for the two of them to get out and give me some me-time!

The trailers are fun! I used one at the start of last summer before I got too pregnant to really bike anymore. Now I'm waiting fur my infant to be old enough to join the toddler!
We love ours! My son takes books and snacks. We try to go on a trail that includes a playground or something like that so he cant get out, have a little fun and get back in. Something for everyone!
Thanks! I'm thinking of getting a cheaply bike for myself so that I can go with them occasionally.
I'll let H know how impressive the garage is. He recently built a shitton of shelving and that peg board. Organizing it has been his mission for a solid month. I'm just hoping it stays that tidy!
We have been using our double chariot for two years, it has been awesome. We just bought a trail-a-bike for Anna and will likely switch Sophia to a seat on my bike this year. I love family bike rides!

Trailers are fun (when we lived overseas we lived in an area with no private vehicles and bikes with trailers were the only way to get around) but take it slow getting used to using it ... it's like riding a bike with a fully deployed parachute hanging off the back!
