I have two functions tomorrow I said YES to both not realizing they would overlap
One is a 60th suprise party for my classroom assistant. I will not know anyone there besides my assistant, i was planning on only attending for an hour anyway
2nd is a friends bridal shower, its a jack and jill my friends will be there
, i just realized they are both tomorrow Same time and pretty far from each other. What would you do?
A) Try to attend both, stay at the assistants bday for an hour then show up to the shower late B) decline on the surprise party, give gift in school on monday and go to the shower C) OTHER
Im going back and forth
ALSO, what the heck do i give for a 60th surprise party? I already gave my assistant a $50 gift card to Kohls last month at school and had the kids throw a little party for her (We had cupcakes, made cards, etc) I was thinking of getting a $60 gift card to a restaurant? Would that be ok!?

If I said I would be going to both, I would do both. Make an appearance at the assistant's bday party, give the $60 restaurant gift card, and scoot out to go to the shower.
