I'm helping host a baby shower and the shower will be the end of July. Where I live it's normally 90-100 that time of year. Im thinking either an earlier mid-morning brunch or a late afternoon party.
Would the late afternoon be weird to you? I know it's not normal for a baby shower but it would be nice to have the whole day to prep and not be rushed.

I would not attend a mid-morning brunch baby shower because showers aren't done at that time around here. I think most of the showers I've ever gone to start between noon and 2 p.m.
I've seen it done both ways. If you host it in the morning though you have more time for pick up afterwards... and you're not working during the heat of the day.

Are you having it outside??
You wouldn't attend it because it's not the norm? Whaa?

Possibly. The other host has a nice big backyard that is perfect for parties. Lots of big trees with shade too. I'm just trying to think of all the options.

Mid-morning is what 10 a.m. or so?
No, I wouldn't attend because if it's on Sunday, I'd be in church. If it was on Saturday it would be too early.
Don't mind me. I'm old and set in my ways. Besides, like I said before, a shower at that time would never happen around here.
