What car would you buy? I'd buy a Jeep Wrangler. I've ALWAYS wanted one (since I was a teenager) and am too practical to buy one now. I need more space for toting around house stuff.
Where would you live? I'd have a house on the water (they are going cheap in NJ these days ) and then buy a condo or two in a few of my favorite places (Aruba, Grand Cayman...)
Car: Lincoln Navigator and a sporty Audi TT convertible. I always wanted the convertible, its on a "likely never" list, given that i am having kids in my late 30s/early 40s. the Navigator is a vehicle that is more family friendly and that DH and i recently entertained trying to find one for us that we could enjoy, but it was just out of reach for where we are now.
Where to live: Primary house Colorado (my dream is to live there) and definitely have a place at the beach (my southern born/raised husband spent most of his life down south in coastal communities).

Car: I'd buy about 20 cars. '70s el Camino, BMW wagon, '50s truck, '60s fastback mustang, new Volvo 2 door hatchback, a bitchin camero... I really love cars.
Live: I'd build a house here, a flat in Barcelona, a house at the beach, a house near my parents/DHs family, and a house in the barrio in Tucson.
Probably a Volvo SUV or a Porsche Cayenne. I'm feeling the need for a better family car.
Where would you live?
I would live in the same city, but buy us a house instead of being apartment dwellers. But I would buy us a second house in San Francisco or something, where my family from southern California could easily (more easily?) meet us halfway when we felt like hanging out.

Car: I'd surprise DH with a Tesla Roadster. And pre-order a Model X for myself.
House: Well, I wouldn't sell my current house, because I love it. But I'd also like a big fancy house in down town. There isn't anything listed for sale right now that would meet my specifications, but I imagine I could start writing letters to owners of properties I liked. Or rather, get a guy to write those letters. Although I'd probably buy some vacation homes, my home base would definitely stay within 10 miles of where I am now. This is where my friends and family are, and I wouldn't be looking to buy replacements for them.
Of course, my odds of winning are approximately 0. Not that buying a ticket would have helped very much...
What car would you buy? Mitsubishi Evo X MR, a truck for home stuff (Chevy 2500 Diesel), and finish all the work that T wants to do on his STi.
Where would you live? I would keep our home here, hire someone to paint and decorate, someone to put in a patio. I would buy out the people that live across from my parents to get them out of everyones hair. I would buy a large amount of land for 4 wheeling.

1. Probably more economical than extravagant. I'd get a Prius or something, and I'd still need a truck for work (would never stop working).
2. Cuenca, Ecuador gets my vote for low cost of living and access to state-of-the-art medical facilities. Would also have homes in US (Portland OR, NY and FL) and Netherlands.
1. H would want a whole assortment of cars starting with a porche 911 (he's not sure which exact model though) and including a 2nd gen corvette, an OLD school mustang, a shelby cobra and maybe a classic charger. And probably a jeep modified for serious off-roading.
I'm not really a car person, but I'd sure have fun driving his.
We wouldn't buy any vacation property (at least not right away), but we would buy a big 4-stateroom sailboat so we'd essentially have a floating vacation home.
We'd probably eventually pick up a mountain/lake cabin somewhere, but we'd stick with the sailboat and the BIG property for now.

1. Screw cars, I'd buy a pony (feel better OG Jo?). I'd probably buy myself something super impractical (like a brand new Mustang) but keep the car I currently drive since I can't fit kids in a Mustang.
2. I probably wouldn't move, I'd just renovate. New kitchen, new bathrooms, finish the basement, redo all the trim in the house and add a big outbuilding for H's project car and motorcycle as well as his current motorcycle and lawn mower.
Oh and count me in on buying a pony. I actually know EXACTLY what horse I'd buy. (He's currently my sister's and he's for sale and I want him desperately. He's perfect for me. I just can't afford board right now and don't really have time to ride with the whole new baby thing)
We'd move for sure. We'd buy a house in the gorgeous hills west of silicon valley so we would be close to work. and send our kids to the schools we want to send them to. Something in a nice young family neighborhood with beautiful views
Like maybe this place www.redfin.com/CA/Portola-Valley/35-Prado-Ct-94028/home/1233242 in Portola Valley plus about 200K in renovations, so you know, only about 2.1-2.3Mil (depending on how crazy over asking something like this goes for) for a 4 bedroom ~2000 square foot pad.
And I guess we'd buy a house in the south pacific somewhere (fiji?) because ... why not?
Cars, IDK. Maybe a Tesla or something cool and cutting edge like that? Vintage truck? IDK.
