So, when H and I talk about the possibility of moving out of state in the future, the Carolinas and parts of Florida come up a lot.
Well, Thursday I saw a few cars with FL tags and thought, "that's odd" because I just don't see them a ton up here. Friday, I saw four cars with FL tags within an hour. Later that day I got an email from a realtor in FL following up on some random house searches we did months ago. It was just odd and random. I was teasing H that it was a sign.

I believe that we become more aware of things in our environment once we have / are thinking of doing something. Like when you drive a silver car you rarely see green cars, but when you buy a green car suddenly they are everywhere.
But - I'm not gonna say you're crazy or anything - I've experienced some things that I'm sure others would think make me crazy...

Yes! This is true with pregnancy. I noticed pregnant women everywhere once I was pregnant.
I agree with thatgirl as well. I mean, you're thinking of moving to FL so you notice the things related to FL more. I mean, if tomorrow you saw 4 cars with NY license plates and then a friend from NY emailed you later that day, would you think that that is a sign to move to NY? Probably not.. It only seems that way for FL because you're already thinking of it/wanting it.
First, I think my family would love it if I moved up to NY.
Second, it was odd because I really don't usually see FL tag cars here. MD, NC, NJ, etc are pretty much the norm in terms of out of state vehicles.
But, I get what people are saying. It was just an odd coincidence.
IN the past I have gotten strong premonitions which have come true, but that's not what was going on here.

It's true when you want to be pregnant but aren't too... then it sucks... Oh and you notice all the moms with kids of the same age as yours who are either pregnant or have little babies too.

Yep - I've had those too - but I don't consider them 'signs'. I had a really unbeliveable one around my daughter's conception & birth circumstances.

The mall is the single worst place to be, other than an OB/GYN's waiting room, after a m/c or TTTC. Nothing but babies and knocked up women walking around.

You know, I guess you could call it signs, but I see it more as gut feelings that are probably based on subconscious things, and your brain finds manifestations of those that you wouldn't otherwise notice.
Like, when I've been in the midst of big transitions -- first job, applying to grad schools, internships, college, buying a house, etc. -- it seems like when I felt indecisive, I always ended up having some moment that pointed me in the direction I ultimately went. Like when I visited grad schools. Two were in NYC and I visited and just felt like I was in some alien world; even though I'd been there before and loved visiting the city. But when I visited Berkeley, it felt like home even though it was 3/4 of the way across the country. There wasn't any single thing I could point to, but I had a very distinct moment where I called home from the campus and said that I felt like that was where I was supposed to be. I've always gotten that feeling of "this is where I'm supposed to be/do" when I'm facing a decision, so I do tend to wait for that "sign".
I agree that I think I become much more hyper-aware of things when I am thinking about them, or my subconscious is telling me to think about them. Maybe yours is telling you that you should take an extra trip to Disney World
BTW, did you get my email about the dance classes??

Alas, not until next February Somehow, I'll manage.
I did and have been meaning to respond. I would be up for going. Are you going to do it?

I'm a firm believer in the law of attraction. I believe we project what we want the most and receive it. I haven't quite figured out how to do this with wealth yet lol

LOL. I hope you can keep going until then.
No, I'm not going to do the classes - I'm a terrible dancer! And sadly, Dh is never home from work by then even if I were. But it screamed your name to me, and every time I walk by the sigh at the gym I think of you and how awesome you would be at it, so I am pretty sure that's a cosmic sign. RIGHT?
I kinda/sorta believe in signs. But I agree with what others are saying - you tend to become more aware.
Random curiosity, but are you from NJ? I'm originally from NJ and it seems half of everyone I know that resides in NJ has a talk/desire at some point to move to the Carolinas or to FL. Not Virginia. Not Georgia. But the Carolinas... or FL. More often S. Carolina is brought up over N. Carolina. But either Carolina will do because "it's better/cheaper than NJ."

Nope, born and raised in VA. My mom is from NYC, so I have tons of family there and some in Jersey.

Definitely
The tango is really fun. Sadly, I don't think my ballroom shoes even fit my feet anymore. That's what I get for having kids. ^o) lol
I did laundry the day I got my interview invitation for my current job and when I reached into my quarter bag the first one I pulled out was a New Mexico.
So, I guess I don't believe until I see something that I want to mean something. lol
