It sounds like there are quite a few pregnant H&Fers! I need to add a ticker to my sig, I'm 23 weeks, due Sept. 12. I've been trying to run or lift 3 or 4 mornings a week. My pace is about 1 minute slower, but I'm feeling good. My biggest concern when I run now is how close I am to the nearest bathroom. I'd like to keep active as long as possible this time. DD is 2.5 y/o and I didn't do much in the way of working out when I was pregnant with her. I ran one 5k at 18 weeks and I'm thinking of doing another one in two weeks.
My eating has been less than perfect, but I'm doing my best to get in as many fruits and vegetables as possible. My carb and sweets cravings are a little out of control.

I'm 7w2d and so far I feel great. I'm enjoying my long walks and they are anywhere from 4-6 miles 4x a week. I go to spin class once a week and that's a little tougher now. I find myself getting out of breathe and I have to back off. All I want to eat is proteins and salty sour stuff.

According to the Baby Bump app I'm 7wks4d.
Today my app says I should consider trading in my 2 door car for a more family friendly car. Hmph. We did list my car for sale on CL - We won't be trading it in since we don't really need two cars right now. I plan on driving DH truck since it's just sits in the driveway 5 days a week.
Felt great on Saturday, today was hit or miss. The grocery store kills me. So many people, and so many smells.

My first trimester is what pushed me into getting my groceries delivered from Peapod - I couldn't handle going to the grocery store, the smells and sights were too much.
I'm 5w4d. I've been hungrier than usual and can already tell I'm going to have to work to keep the pounds off. Sugary and carby food is so appealing right now! I did manage to eat a huge spinach salad yesterday. No real morning sickness, just aversions to heavy food. Bacon grosses me out big time. And I craved a glass of milk for the first time ever.
I feel winded the second I start running so I've been walking about an hour a day and doing some light weight training. Oh, and taking 2 naps a day plus going to bed at 8pm.
Really looking forward to my first appointment on June 3rd.

I can't sleep at night to save my life. I read that unisom is safe during pregnancy, but MH is pretty against that. =/ I plan on asking my OB when I go for my next appt on 6/3. I can't be up all night.

So excited to be part of this round of H&F preggos
I'm 14w 2d. Still nauseated with strong food aversions to most carbs and sweets, especially peanut butter and chocolate. All I want to eat is meat. I know, crazy right?!?!
Fortunately, the fatigue and nausea haven't been as bad this time as it was with DD. I've been able to keep up with running 20-25 miles a week, and even did a 5k race with the stroller this past Saturday. I'd still would like to participate in the 2014 Boston Marathon 5.5 months PP, so thinking about that is giving me extra motivation to keep lacing up my running shoes even when I don't want to.
I'm 18 weeks, 6 days. My sweet tooth is also crazy out of control. I've been lucky that I've been able to keep exercising. It's less intense but at least it's something. I've started to feel the baby a little and at the last sonogram the little bird (our nickname for it) was kicking my bladder the whole time. No wonder I pee every 5 minutes!

YAY!

Benedryl. It's safe
Ohh, really? I can just see MHs reaction to that.. He is against sleeping aids bc he got somewhat addicted to taking nyquil and some other medicine pretty much every night for quite awhile.
I understand his concern, but dang, i'm tired.. I need sleep.
I'm just going to check with the Dr, WITH DH pregnant, so he can see for himself that it's safe.. Let's just hope the Dr. gives me the go ahead.
(lucky for me DH isn't home most of the time so he'd never know... that is bad, right?) (devil)

Stingyshark I did sneak some Benadryl a couple times when I had a head cold a last week. I was so stuffed up and miserable at night that I couldn't sleep.
My DH is the same way though, he looked at me aghast when I went to take some Extra Strength Tylenol one day. I do try and avoid taking stuff, but life still has to go on and I need to function.

EXACTLY! I can't just curl up in bed and chill for the next 8 months. Sadly I still have to work, and do other life things..like wash his clothes ( ).
I can't imagine trying to survive this with a toddler & a travelling husband.. My dogs are annoying enough - You are one tough lady!
DH wants 2 kids.. i think he's going to need a new job if he thinks we are going to do this again.

I have bad allergies and I've been taking benedryl a few times. So far, so good. It was on a safe list from my IVF specialist and OB. My husband is the opposite. Granted he has some knowledge since he is in the medical field. Ill be complaining and he will just be like "take the damn medicine!" Tums have been a lifesaver as well. I already can't eat as much at one time or I get heartburn. I'm a big eater and am having a hard time learning this lesson.

Unisom (the completely plain kind) is totally safe. That plus B6 is often a very common OTC combo for morning sickness.
I'm 5w6d. Waiting for bloodwork results from my hcg & progesterone tests on Friday and I have an ultrasound tomorrow at 6 weeks.
Nausea is pretty awful, but to be expected for me. I'm not throwing up though, so that's good. I rode 28.5 miles with DH on Saturday and did C25K a few days last week. I'm riding as much as I can right now because I know my outdoor time is very limited.

Maybe I should try C25k to start running again.. Not that right now is a great time, but driving to the gym is 0% appealing. I'd prefer to just get on my treadmill downstairs. I attempted to run last week. I think I made it 15 seconds before I was completely winded..and i wasn't even trying to run fast.. like, i couldn't maintain a 5.0mph speed, which i think is a 12min/mile. i laughed myself off the treadmill and rode my stationary bike.

On the other hand, at least you can veg-out on the couch with a bowl of cereal and call it a night. It's not always bad having the place to yourself
Kudos to all the women who had kids close together in age. I'm sure it's easier in the long run.
But right now, I die just thinking about having to change a diaper or chase a wobbly toddler around the house. At least DD can "go potty" by herself and be entertained with color books for a couple hours. I definitely needed a few years in between.
I'm a newbie to the board and I joined BECAUSE I'm pregnant and needed some advice and support since it seems that most people think I should sit on a couch and "eat for two" for the next 9 months! I am 8 wks 3 days and I am a barefoot runner. I get quite a bit of flak for that bit too. I have been running half and full marathons for the past 4 years so I am more than prepared to continue running. I had not signed up for anything more than a 10K this year and I will probably keep it that way. Looking forward to getting to know all of you ladies!!
