So some of my other friends had requested a house tour video. I had to shoot in 3 segmets and it sounds awful (I hate my voice on video) but I thought you guys might like to see too since I'm behind on posting updated pictures.
My house is not normally a shrine to the Indy 500 but we had 10 people staying with us that weekend for the Mini Marathon and we hosted a big cookout after the race so that's what the decorations and gift bags are for. My confession is that I shot this just before the cleaning lady came so you guys can see how crazy I am LOL.

Beautiful house! Love the rooms you have decorated they all look great. I have a question though do you remember why size rug you have under you white round table off the kitchen?
Your house is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!! Thanks for posting! You have such a talent for decorating!!
Last year when we looked at the house we live in now, I made a video during our second showing. That might sound weird but I wanted to be sure that this house was THE ONE and I also wanted input from a few friends/family members on what they thought. So during the 2nd showing I made a video. Of course, during the whole thing I'm yammering away (I hate my voice on video!) and there were some parts of the video taping that were very redundant. When I got home I opened it up in windows live movie maker (came with the computer, woo hoo) and edited the video. Took out my voice entirely and added some captions to explain things and took out some redundant footage.

I just measured it for you! It's too small for the table -- 5'5" x 8'. The chairs BARELY stay on it when you pull them out. I'm helping a friend with her kitchen and I recommended that she get an 8x10 rug for a 48 in" table.

Thanks!! Our dining area isn't that big and I'm afraid a 8x10 will fill the whole space I'm going to wait until we move to measure everything out. I think our table is only 42" for some reason
gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. i love the color in your master bedroom!
did you ever decide on couches?
hope your 500 party was fun
It was a blast! No, I haven't decided, we decided to do the bonus room upstairs first. Now we are working on the deck and my office. Hopefully this fall I'll find something.

I finally went back and watched the other two videos since I had time. Your pug's toy basket made me laugh our pug has a basket of toys too. I love what you are doing with your craft room. In our new place I get to have a craft room I can't wait. I also didn't realize you had a cameo cutter. Have you had it long? I've had mine since christmas and I'm still learning everything. I really love all your color choices in all the rooms.
Thanks for sharing! I'm always curious about neighborhood lots and layouts so it was fun seeing the outside of your house and how it's situated along the creek. You have a really nice lot and a good spacing between homes for privacy.

Aren't pugs the cutest? I haven't had it long, maybe 4 months? I've only used it twice I need to okay with it more!
How do you like having the big single sink in the kitchen?? I love the look and the practicality of fitting big pots and cookie sheets in it to soak...but where do you put your dishes to dry? I hate drying racks on the counter so I don't know if I would like having a sink that style. I like putting my clean dishes in the other side of the sink to dry....

It is the most amazing thing ever. I would have babies with my sink if I could. We dry with a flour sack towel when we hand dry. I am too obsessively neat to leave anything clean or dirty in the sink! If I was going to air dry in the sink I would probably wash, set on a clean towel or dish mat on the counter and the move that into the sink while they dried.
So you wash and dry and put away your dishes right away? Like a normal person? haha. I am too busy/lazy I guess...I usually let mine air dry after dinner and then put them away in the morning. I guess I could get into the habit of towel drying again...when we didn't have a dishwasher I always dried and put away right away.
I wonder if I could get a huge sink like that that also has another small sink? What do you call those things...holes? Sections? A big one for washing and a smaller one to let them dry in...hmm.

I think they are called vessels. You probably could, but then your sink would be like 50 inches wide!
