OMG. I feel so sick. Those poor families. It seems so much more tragic that it happened to them while at school. I'm so sorry to everyone affected by this.

I was supposed to go down to our other office tomorrow for training, but the lady they brought in is from OKC and she left back home this afternoon. Her daughter's home was leveled and they can't find the baby and nanny She is such a sweet person! I'm really hoping and praying they can find her granddaughter and nanny soon!
I work south of the area that was hit but live north. I drove around the major hit area but debris was still all over the road and I saw a totaled car. My school went on lockdown but we were far enough south east that we weren't in any real danger. As I listen to the coverage, I can't help but think about those poor kids and educators. You know what sucks, looking at a 6-year old and telling her "this is not a drill, but we'll be ok". But what has to be 1000x worse is saying that right before a tornado hits. I'm a mess. I know how scared our kids were and how hard it was for me to keep them comfortable, knowing that we were in very little danger. I can't imagine what it had to be like to be in the path of the storm. My heart breaks for Moore. This is horrible
I live south of there. I am mad. When are they going to build public shelters? I realise things happen quickly, but some people have no where to go. You need to be underground for something this sized.
I can't stop crying, the poor children and the horses.
My Aunt is so freaking lucky today. She was on 35 driving from NE to TX and saw the damn thing. My Mom and I were in a panic waiting to hear from her. I'm so heartbroken for the families waiting and looking for the children. I can't imagine.

Shit. We now have a Tornado watch here. Strong winds and crazy rain. I am in Springfield, MO. You can see us on the radar they keep showing on MSNBC. Ugh. Kind of freaking out.
My cable is out so I am not watching live, but news on my fb just reported that the death toll is up to 51. This is including the children.
Also people are sharing fb posts from different hospitals reporting names of children that they have so that their parents can locate them. My heart is breaking knowing that some parents will never show up
