1. I am doing a 5 mile trail run on 6/1 and a 5K on 6/22 2. Today is rest, running 5 tomorrow, playing tennis Thursday and run 2 miles, Friday running at the gym and strength. Sat, Sun and Mon, going out of town so no real exercise, but lots of walking, I am sure. 3. Nope! 4. I finally got back into the swing of things after my half. I got really burned out during my half training and needed a week and a half to reset and now I feel good as new! Plus, I am glad not to be running long distances right now. 5. Going to Chicago to visit family!
What are you training for? Date? Local 10k in June. I haven't actually signed up for it yet though. My running confidence is low.
Training plan for this week? I'm winging it. Hoping to hit 30 miles this week and do a couple strength work outs.
Any injuries or complications? My trail is closed for maintenance. Boo.
Highlights from last week? none H&F related, but we got us some renters! 3 year lease, woohoo.
Do you have any exciting plans for the long weekend? I haven't gotten that far yet, but I promised to take the kids to see the fairy houses in Solomons Island. Tomorrow is DS's last day of preschool! I can't believe I will have 2 grade schoolers next year!

Any injuries or complications? A little twinge in my knee, but I noticed that the cleat on one of my cycling shoes is crooked (omg-rage!), and I think that's the culprit

Any injuries or complications? - My knee and shoulder have decided to be stupid all of a sudden. As a bonus, today I woke up stuffy with a sore throat. Ugh.
Highlights from last week? - I got a new Cateye for my bike, and was excited. :-)
Do you have any exciting plans for the long weekend? - I have plans. They are not exciting. We're going up to see my H's family.

Do you have any exciting plans for the long weekend? Race in the AM and Prairie Home Companion Saturday, then cleaning out the garage. Mr. GT will be gone, so I have the house to myself.
What are you training for? Date? Nothing big right now, just enjoying running, first half is in Nov so training will begin this summer. Last race of the spring is a color run with my son in a few weeks but not really considering it a race
Training plan for this week? started 30DS last night, would like to do it every day I don't run. Plan on 4 miles tomorrow night and two 5 mile days this weekend
Any injuries or complications? really bad shin pain in my left leg

Do you have any exciting plans for the long weekend? We are heading to our shore house to kick off summer, probably too cold for the beach but looking forward to a run on the boardwalk one morning, and another on our sea wall that runs along the beach
What are you training for? Date? No races planned yet - just keeping up base mileage and cross training

Mon - 4 mile run - it was 88 degrees out with high humidity, it sucked:( Tues - scheduled rest, pedi after work:) Weds - 6-7 mile run Thurs - may be a forced rest day b/c of meetings after school, maybe able to get a short run or strength training in after the meetings Fri - 5 mile run and cleaning the house Sat - 5 -7 mile run before 5K Pet Promise race - running it w/ DH Sun - massage and I may try to fit in another bike ride

Highlights from last week? 18 mile bike ride plus I powered through my 8 miler on Saturday even though my running route was interrupted by a bazillion people
Do you have any exciting plans for the long weekend? Fun 5K race on Saturday Baseball game w/ friends on Sunday Cookout on Monday w/ friends DH's b-day and Memorial Golf Tournament on Tuesday plus pizza and cake:)
What are you training for? Date? A marathon on 9/28. I am also signed up for a trail marathon on 8/3, but it isn't a goal race, it is going to be a just muddle through it race.
Training plan for this week? Run a few times. The key runs that I must do no matter what are a hilly 8 miles and my long run on Saturday with the second half of the long run at MP.
Any injuries or complications? Heat. Humidity. Tornado watches/warnings. Thunderstorms.
Highlights from last week? 35 glorious miles.
Do you have any exciting plans for the long weekend? Nope. I've been searching for some cheap plane tickets to wherever, but I haven't found anything that works for me yet. We'll probably just hang out at home.
Training plan for this week? Sun-4.5 mile run Mon-3 miles Tues-Lift Wed-Rest Thurs-Rest Fri-Speedwork, lift Sat and Sun-Traveling to CO...I want to squeeze in at least 1 3-4 mile run prior to Monday to see how I feel at that altitude.

Highlights from last week? Got back on track with my eating, and I feel so much better as a result!
Do you have any exciting plans for the long weekend? Headed to Denver with the family for BIL's wedding! We'll be there for 10 days with my IL's and extended family. I will get to pass L off and maybe sip some drinks with my future SIL while the grandparents babysit! Woo hoo!

What are you training for? Date? An Olympic distance tri on 6/8
Training plan for this week? Resting a couple days (just did a half on Sunday) and then upping my bike and swim volumes that have been low from my half training
Any injuries or complications? So far so good this spring! Highlights from last week? I got to finish my half through Lambeau Field which was really cool. My time wasn't anywhere near what I wanted but I was going to make it through that stadium no matter what!
Do you have any exciting plans for the long weekend? Not really. I thought about driving home but 18 hours in the car for a 3 day weekend is a lot. We're looking at a brewing/cookout day at some point this weekend.

Why is your confidence low? 30 mpw is awesome and you can easily do a 10K race!

Training plan for this week? Sun: 6.6 miles Mon: 3.25 miles Today: maybe some 800's on the treadmill at lunch. It's rainy-ish outside. Thur and Fri: hopefully a couple lunchtime runs of 3-4 miles Sat: really hoping for a long-ish run at the in-laws

fitting in my running during a busy week. getting ready to be gone for the weekend and helping host a anniversary party for my in-laws being 6 hours away has been more work than I anticipated.
Highlights from last week? 20 miles run, and a family run with the jogging stroller
Do you have any exciting plans for the long weekend? going to the in-laws to be with H's whole family. in-laws 40th anniversary and all the kids are throwing them a surprise party. Exciting? not really. I'm actually not looking forward to it. Driving 6+ hours with two 13 month olds might kill me though. I am hoping to bring the jogging stroller for my sanity and for something to do!

Highlights from last week? I ran 11.17 miles for my final long run. As much as the distance was important physically, it was much more important mentally. I feel like could walk the last 2 miles IF I HAD TO so I feel confident going into the HM that I can finish!
Do you have any exciting plans for the long weekend? Saturday will be final long run. Sunday, picnic with my family. Monday, I would like to bike the 15 mile course for the triathlon with my SIL to prepare for triathlon.
