(bike-ger, swim-ger, you get the idea) Quantify however you wish. Miles, yards, hours. Whatever. Where is the point of insatiable hunger for you?
I think mine is somewhere around 30 mpw, which seems not that high to me. (As in I would have guessed that it would take a higher volume to induce runger.)

Half marathon training seems to be the sweet spot since I tend to top out at no more than 30. I'm burning enough to offset some treats, but not enough to send my appetite into overdrive.
I don't know man. Maybe like 35mpw? I don't really get rungry anymore. I also have exceeded 35 mpw in months. womp womp. maybe that'll happen again during marathon training?
I will say this though. . .weightlifting makes me MFing RAVENOUS. I'm lke a bottomless pit after strength training.
I don't get "runger" until AFTER the fact. So, like tapers, recovery weeks, etc. It's so weird because if I take a few days off, I am SO hungry! But even in my higher mileage weeks, my appetite is pretty consistent (mind you, I am not a dainty eater regardless). Also, when I do get that insatiable hunger, it is usually for chocolate and cookies. Hmmm, now that I think about it, I think I am just talking about PMS, lol
If I run in the morning/AM than I have runger all day. If I run in the PM, I don't have it. It doesn't really matter what kind of mileage I have for my week.

I've not come up on this for running yet, but I've been maxing out at 20-25 mpw, so I don't necessarily discount that it'll happen.
As far as swimming goes, if I do 2+ miles and then get out of the water and DON'T put something in my stomach within like 15 minutes, I'll be hungry the rest of the day. Correction - STARVING. But if I eat a banana or granola bar or whatever asap when I get out, I'm good; however, when I do 2+ miles at a race I'll use that as an EXCUSE to eat like it's going out of style.
I'm not really sure to be honest. It seems like it hits every time I ramp up my mileage and then subsides if I stick around there for a few weeks, presumably once my metabolism adjusts.
I'm with ebeth, weight lifting seems to make me hungrier than running. I was painfully hungry last Summer when I was marathon training and EBFing. I don't know the tipping point though. I've been in the 20's to 30's lately, and it has been fine. It probably has more to do with ramping up the miles than the actual # for me.

This is me. Also the day after a long run or race.
Once I'm doing double digit long runs I start noticing I'm hungrier. During marathon training, it's been absolutely constant. I am an eating machine. Ahh!!

I'm like this too. I can't stop eating on my recovery days!
