I still have a bad headache from yesterday, but running usually helps. I'm trying to force myself to go at lunch so it doesn't get any worse this afternoon. It's hot and muggy outside though, blah. I did bring my clothes and shoes to work.

You can do it, DL!
I did my exercise bike last night for 30 minutes. I only did 30 because I also washed my car yesterday (which I think counts as some form of exercise).
Tonight I'll do the circuit training I mentioned before.
I have my workout clothes on. Lol. Kind of hungover and dehydrated which makes me nervous. ..I tend to get dizzy towards the end of a run as it is. So I might just power walk today to be safe
Alright, alright I did it. It was hot and muggy and the sun came out. WTF? It was cloudy all morning so I sweated my butt off and burned an extra 100 calories than normal because of the humidity. Woot woot.
Week 5 was like an out-of-body experience for me. I was scared shitless and ran super slow, but when I finished that first day of the week I was so fucking proud of myself. You might want to die but you will be SO happy you did it.
And now I'm on week 2 again and going slowly and am dreading week 5 as well. lol!

No running (walking) for me again. Despite my best intentions, I still have no running shoes. I ended up working through lunch more often than not last week, so no power shopping at lunch. However, I'm hoping to score some at a Memorial Day Sale this week. So there's that... Plus it's raining buckets for the next few days. I may have to postpone my C25K ambitions until a little later in the summer when the sun is our for more than a day at a time. Gotta love WA weather!
I am planning on taking at least one walk a day while we're at the cabin this weekend though.
So unless I can get my hands on some Cymbalta like, now, no running for me tonight.
I ran out of refills. Didn't realize it until I went to refill it last night and oops-none left. I have now gone without since Sunday and kind of feel like I'm going to die. They aren't kidding when they tell you to NEVER EVER EVER stop Cymbalta without stepping down gradually. One day I've gone without and I am pretty sure I'll be puking the rest of the night.

malibu- That sucks. ADs in general are brutal to quit without phasing out. None of mine ever made me puke, though. I hope it doesn't last long. Do you have an appt for a new scrip?

That sucks. My friend had the same problem weaning off either Cymbalta or Effexor. I hope you're able to get a refill soon.
I think I will do one more week 4 and go to day 1 of week 5 over the weekend. In the meantime, I'm taking starrieskies shopping.
doglove, bullygirl979- My legs have not been mega sore, just a little on the achy side at times. Are there any stretches I should be doing? Is there anyway to prevent those darn stitches/cramps/whatever they're called?

How hydrated are you before you go out? I know if I'm dehydrated than I will get side stitches during the run and also have muscles aches afterwards. Also, you could be breathing too hard/fast instead of an easy breath to create the side stitches too.
Have you ever taken a yoga class? Also, using a foam roller on your legs helps with aches and soreness.

Muddled...there a ton of opinions on what causes side stitches. The most common reasons that are thrown around are dehydration or off balance breathing. I would slow down a bit and see if that helps. Or make sure you are hydrated and see if that helps.
You should definitely be stretching. I stretch my quads, calfs, hips fo sho. Do you need some ideas for specific ones?
If I ran any slower, I would be going backwards. Ha.
Dehydration could definitely b a culprit. I'll work on that. I've been trying to avoid shallow breathing.
I stretch my calves some because I can definitely feel it there, but I haven't been stretching anything else. How would I stretch my hips? I am trying to get back into yoga, but not being very successful at that.
