oh my.
I'm going to overshare about my uterus here, just a warning.
I got my 3rd set of numbers drawn on Friday and found out about them this morning. They weren't good. My HCG only went up to 692 which is a doubling time of like, 100+ hours.
They said my progesterone went up though, which means the pills are working. They also told me to keep my appointment for today and come in and we'd discuss the next steps.
So we went in and with my numbers, I was expecting a blank ute. Lo and behold, we found a teeny tiny gestational sac. Which means my numbers have gone up even more, so that's good.
The only thing is that I'm supposed to be 6 weeks by LMP and what they saw today was more in line with 5 weeks. It is possible I'm off by a few days, which is the theory my doctor is going with, but we are all aware it could be that I am supposed to be 6 weeks and things aren't right.
My doctor is cautiously optimistic and said, your numbers show you are pregnant and this is the spot where the baby is developing, so you're pregnant. Take your progesterone, take your PNVs and see you in nine days.
So, the world's longest nine day wait is in progress now.

thanks guys
my first pregnancy was a m/c of twins at 10 weeks, so we've been down this road before. Which is both comforting because we know what to expect and know we can survive it, but it's also sad to think it good be happening again. It's definitely a one day at a time thing now.
Thankfully, the doctor is 100% supportive of my exercise and nothing I do physically will have an effect on the outcome, so I have running and riding and swimming to keep me sane.
