My Husband found a radiator for my car and just left to go get it. He checked the car over last night with a few guys from work; they all agreed it looks like it's just the radiator and that the rest is cosmetic.
I didn't sleep very well last night, it was 84 the entire night. Ugh.
Yeah, me too. Isn't that par for the course with her?
Where did she post?
I feel like I've hit a wall emotionally. I just kind of meh about everything. I just want something that makes me happy (besides the kid obviously). That was hard to type out.
Hugs. I'm here if you need to talk. I SO get that.
Saint Monica. yeah. I tried to handle it as best I could. About a week prior, I just calmly and quietly said I was disappointed he was going away. That was it. I thanked him for the flowers and card he sent while I was gone.
Oh and at one point, after the 5th time Andy woke up the night before Mothers Day, I sent him a 3 am text that said "I hate you" but we both thought that was funny. Lol.
i have a question, sorry if this is offensive to people. someone ( i don't even remember who ) gave my baby a rosary. they gave my jewish baby a rosary. what can i do with it, bc i feel like throwing it away is wrong. and i feel like putting it in the bag with donation clothes is wrong.
Bury it, burn it, or just drop it off at any Catholic church.
- I did not want to come in today, and almost called in "sick". - Mom's cat (we're pet-sitting) decided she needed to sit on my chest and yowl in my ear. At 3am. This is why I don't have cats.
I am starting up NROWL4W again on my lunch. I was doing the NROWL for Abs but I need just a bit more.
I am feeling sooooo relaxed at work. My busy season is over and my grad class is over. This feeling will last a week lol.
If you were going to buy food for a bday party/picnic thing from Costco what would you buy? I think I need to go scout it out this weekend in preparation of buying stuff for Leo's bday party next weekend. We are going to be gone until the day before so I am taking the lazy way out cooking wise. Nice and casual.
I just saw that Kevin Durant donated $1million to the tornado victims. Amazing.
DH has to go out and work clean up again today and he is just emotionally drained. They are also having to run off looters. Seriously...who would try and steal from these poor people?!?
I have my yearly exam scheduled with my OB today and I think I'm going to reschedule. I have too much to do at work to take off for it.

I am going crazy waiting for the RSVPs for Lucy's birthday party. The date I wrote for RSVP is Friday- WOULD EVERYONE JUST PLEASE GET BACK TO ME AND TELL ME YES OR NO? but please say yes, this is the first time we've invited classmates and her dance class, and I really want to have a good turnout. Gymnastics, pizza and veggies, hello, how can you turn that down?!
Oh, and I suppose this is a good place to ask this... for some reason I can't see my avatar. Occasionally I can't see one or two other peoples' avatars, so I'm not sure if it's just my computer being weird and not loading some pictures, or if my avatar picture doesn't work anymore and I need to replace it.
I'm pretty sure my dog is a mastermind. He's been limping since Thursday, but doesn't whine or whimper. When he sits, he won't put any pressure on his one paw. BUT, then a second later, he'll run full speed into the living room and jump on the couch. Or chase his tail. It's like he's just doing it for attention.
Either way, he's going to the vet today to find out what is wrong. I can totally picture him walking into the vet completely fine with no limp at all. We'll see what happens.
After I hit 30, I feel like my body is starting to fall apart. I've had to wear glasses and no makeup for the past 2 days because one of my eyes has two styes in it. For no apparent reason. I've also had a rash that just won't go away for about the past 6 months, so I have to put medicated goop on it. And every time I stand up my hips, knees, and elbows pop - loudly - and it's embarrassing when other people are around. And on top of that, my face is breaking out. Great. I get teenager pimples and old lady popping joints and random rashes.
I feel totally attractive right now. :^)
I have had so many odd ailments (lol) since turning 30. Shingles, weird allergy reactions...wtf body, we have a long road ahead of us, slow your roll.
My joints are so poppy. Every time I watch a spy movie I think, "I could never do that because my knees would give me away."
Oh and I just remembered my husband's birthday is Monday. shit.
kind of flameful, I don't really feel like doing anything special for him. I'm more resentful about mothers day than I expected I would be. I need to let it go.

When my brother was little, he climbed on top of a piece of furniture and it ended up falling on him. He walked into the ER with my parents and left with a cast because his leg was broken in 2 places. He was in the brochure for the hospital all smiling and stuff. It happens I guess!
I met AutumnRose25's H last night and he's a cutie! They're an adorable couple.
I had Luke's Lobster for dinner last night and it lived up to the hype - it was fan-fricken-tastic. I had the Maine sampler, lobster roll, crab roll, and shrimp roll. The crab roll was my favorite.
H bought a Wii U in the Nintendo store last night. It's pretty cool. The little pad thing that comes with it lets me watch tv while he plays video games on our TV.
After we were on the train he said "I hope they don't think I'm an ass for having changed into my Bruins shirt" LOL
Also, we are still laughing about the "no Starbucks zone"
Hahaha, no, we didn't care. omg, if we had walked 1 block in the other direction, there was a sbux on 47th! Wtf, lol.
1. she is dramatic, like her mama. this morning i complimented her nice shirt (it's flowy and longish). she said "NO MOMMY, THIS IS NOT A SHIRT, THIS IS A DRESS!!!!" and then ran over to the couch and threw herself face down. my husband and i were looking at each other with a combo of and . after laying there for a couple minutes, she popped up, laughing her little head off. she was punking us!
2. she escorts us to the door at drop off now. we'll get her started with breakfast, and then when we leave (we aren't there together, she does this with both of us), she says "i will walk you to the door," takes our hands, walks over to the door, gives us a kiss, and then waves goodbye. it's so cute.
3. the other day we drove by a construction site and she randomly busts out with "wow mommy, that is quite a lot of equipment." all serious. equipment! that's like a $2 word. way to go, kid!
also, while pregnancy totally blows this time around, my kid to be is also pretty great because i'm 75% sure that i can feel him or her moving. yay!
I am starving, it hasn't been all that long since breakfast.
I have to start meal planning but I'm too lazy to do the weekend prep work. This has to change this weekend.
I am laying the ground work for a get together for all of the casting families in my area. All of our kids are around the same age, so I thought it would be nice if we got them all together this summer and did something fun. But now I have to come up with something age appropriate but also accommodating to the kids that are in casts (so they're not stuck outside for 3 hours in the hot sun). I am not a major planner so this will be a lot of work for me, but there are so many families in our area it seems silly for us to not get together--especially since some of the families cast on the same day.

Cheese tray, fruit tray, veggie tray, chips/salsa, cake & alcohol. Walla! All set for the party.
What she said.
And their refrigerated food is awesome too. Spring rolls, sliders.... You could also get the premise chicken salad and do sandwiches.
I am so ready for this week to be over. I have a four day weekend and need every bit of it.
I have a 13 year old daughter who is going through hormonal changes thanks to puberty which has her emotions all over the place. I also have a 2 year old daughter who is full force into the terrible twos. Between the two of them, I am worn out!
