we aren't really scheduled for our c-section until 6/3, but at my OB appt yesterday they agreed to write me out for the week prior. i just haven't been able to work just an 8 hour day, so i'm exhausted at the end of the day everyday. all my check ups are great, no high bp (i was pre-e last pregnancy), the non-stress tests for the baby have been good, etc. i even started gaining weight these last 3 appts (i'm plus sized, so they weren't concerned with the weight loss i had thru most of the pregnancy and as long as i didn't lose in these last 2 months, just maintained, they weren't concerned b/c baby has been growing).
my mom flies in on wednesday, so i am hoping this little girl stays in until the scheduled time--mom didn't get to be here for the delivery of my son since he came 5 weeks early.
i'm just so happy to have the burden of work off my list of things to be considering for next week!

@callmefia - I went shopping with a plus-size friend at Motherhood and Pea in the Pod a few years ago and they both had similar stuff, but there was plenty of plus-size business casual stuff to pick from. Also, JCP offers plus-maternity and they have a decent selection - not great, perhaps, but decent.
Yay! That will be so nice to have next week off to relax and spend time with your little one before the baby comes!!
Can you talk to me about plus size pregnancy? I'm pushing a size 20 an am worried about finding clothes that are going to work. Maybe since you didn't gain much it wasn't as much of an issue? Right now I'm just bloated a lot (10 weeks). I have to dress business casual for work. Where did you buy clothes, any good tips?
I have a few friends that I'm hoping to borrow clothes from, but they both work in very casual work settings, so they don't have much for my work wardrobe.
It is always exciting to hear that a lot of plus size people don't gain much weight. My friends have all gotten back to pre-pregnancy very quickly and lost a bunch on top of it.
i was same size as you when i got pregnant. my pants are all motherhood maternity, b/c they fit me best. my plus sized stylist said she had good luck with old navy, but my hips/thighs are where i carry most of my weight and old navy cuts just don't work for me. i was able to get several tops from target's liz lange in the xxl size, but other than a few tops from motherhood maternity, i also just bought plus sized tops that ran long enough to cover my bump.
i'm done with all of my maternity clothes. of course most are more suitable for winter than summer. but, i would be willing to send them to you. i especially have a barely work pair of light grey pants that i got for these last 6 weeks of the pregnancy that expanded better than the dark grey pair i wore the rest of my pregnancy. let me know!
