Remember the Peanut Palace debacle?

Back in Januaray I had hurt feelings because my nephew choose his birthday dinner at Texas Roadhouse and DD couldn't go because of a peanut allergy?

Well, Sunday my mom picked him up from baseball practice and had a long drive to our house for our weekly dinner.  He started drilling her on what resturants DD could go to.  He wants to ask his mom if we could all go out to dinner to a steakhouse but wants to make sure DD can go too.  He's growing up to be such a good kid.

Heh, why does the kid like steak so much? True story: when I was a kid the only times we ate steak it was at home and we had to share 1 steak between 5 people. We were pooor. Lol.

I am glad he will eat it.  I didn't want to turn the last thread into bashing my nephew when everyone was accusing DD of being the problem for restaurant limitations, but he eats McDonalds chicken nuggets, Lucky Charms, Apple Jacks and just recently steak.  That's it. We are making progress here!  I am just happy to have somewhere to go out to eat with my brother's family.
