I am making a concerted effort to drink more water. I run between 3-6 miles per day usually. I am finding it hard to find a guideline regarding the amount I need to drink. Also, does this need to pee every 2 seconds go away after my body gets used to more water, or will I be perpetually looking for a bathroom? Thanks!

I used to aim for a gallon, and I was doing good at meeting my goal..and then i got pregnant and now water tastes terrible.. im doing good if i can get 2 bottles down.
For me, the need to pee every 10 minutes never went away. Lots of trips to the bathroom.
I constantly have a bottle with me. When it's empty, I refill it. I *hate* feeling thirsty. Rough estimate, 80-100 oz from the bottle and more with meals, morning vitamins, and before bed.
I drink 2-3 liters a day if I can, but sometimes it's just not possible for me to access my water bottle that much. I usually chug down a liter before I go to sleep at night. I also tend to drink more in the summer when I'm running in the heat.
About 100-120 ounces a day (or 12-14 glasses). I LOVE water. Love love love it. I love a cold glass of water at all times. I don't drink anything else (some hot tea) at all.
I aim for 100 oz a day. I have a 33 oz Nalgene bottle that I refill. I try to get through 3 daily. Water is all I drink. I add lemon to it when I'm not working out.
I have a harder time drinking a lot when we're out all day. I still have to pee all of time and I've been drinking this much water for years.
I don't have a goal, I am just thirsty a lot. Water alone over 100oz a day. I usually finish my 32oz bottle by morning that I take to bed. I also drink an obscene amount of coffee, too.
Trips to the bathroom? In a normal workday, probably 5.

I try to get 40-60oz in before I leave work each day. Then, I'll drink another 20-30 when I get home. I'm much better about it on weekdays, because I am mostly at my desk. At home, I get busy, and tend to forget, so I try to drink 1-2 glasses of water at every meal.
I won't admit how low it is. Some people would probably be shocked Im still alive. And I don't drink that much other things to make it up either.
I was always this way too. Coffee, milk on my cereal, and maybe milk after dinner, or an iced tea would get me through the day.
Lately I have been using my pee as a judge on if I should drink more or not. It is nice to stand up quickly and not black out too. But with being more active, I find I am enjoying drinking water more. I probably fill my water bottle 3-4 times a day. Which is TONS more than I had been drinking!
I probably drink 80-100oz a day, but I don't aim for any sort of number. I am also one of those people that constantly has a water bottle next to me. All I drink is basically water, milk and coffee. As for the pee thing, in my experience it never goes away. Good thing I have a job where I can go pee whenever I want, or I wouldn't be able to drink as much as I do.
I don't aim for a particular amount but I carry a 24 oz water bottle with me everywhere and usually fill about 4-5 times per day so 12-15 cups on average. And yes, I pee constantly
