My 2 year old nephew was just diagnosed. They have no answers other than that the biopsy came back positive. mri is tomorrow and their appt. with the oncologist is Tuesday. They'll have more answers then. A few weeks ago, one of his testicles was red and swollen. After many appointments and "we don't know's", they determined it was just a mass. He had surgery on it last week and she got the phone call today. They wouldn't tell her anything else over the phone. Any spare thoughts, prayers anything would be greatly appreciated.

Oh no! Poor nephew. How awful for his parents to be on pins and needles all weekend as well. (If I might drop an anecdote, my BIL had testicular cancer and now is fine and is even still fertile after treatment. I hope things work out as well for your nephew in the years ahead).
Oh no! So solid tumor cancer? That os not very common in children. Where are they located? ETA I meant. Where do they live?
I think so. She said it was a mass and thy didn't want to cut it open so they removed the whole thing and sent it off. I'm so glad she didn't "wait and see" like they kind of wanted her too. She pushed for answers.
