I am thankful for the upcoming 3-day weekend and looking forward to some family time and outside time. I hoping I can talk DH into a Memorial Day Murph with the baby in stroller.
I'm also thankful to have gotten into the PhD program I wanted with funding...even if it has been hard telling work and friends and is going to be difficult to relocate, I am so happy for the opportunity to pursue my dreams.
I'm thankful for my ART guy and how much he's helped me already. My leg still has some issue but at least I'm able to run! I'm really thankful for my H. He really is super supportive of my healthy living. It's really wonderful I'm thankful for dark chocolate too. Can't live wo it
wambam I am SO jealous of how sweet your husband is! Blergh.
I am once again thankful for our health, the roof over our head and the opportunities we have. We are not wealthy, we have not been all over the world, we do not even own our own house yet. But we are so much more privileged than so many others.
I am thankful I was able to run nearly 5 miles yesterday without any pain!
shauni27 - He's pretty amazing. I am a very lucky woman.
While I know am so lucky to have a wonderful and loving husband who is(usually) so helpful and very supportive, one thing he lacks (and I tell him this often!) is romance. I don't think he has bought me flowers, other than valentines day or my birthday, in 2 years. He used to get me flowers, buy me cards, etc, for no reason. Not so much since marriage. He does other little things, like clean my car off for me in the winter when he gets up before me (or he did before we got a garage!) and he works himself to death to make things easier for me (after a 12-14 hour workday of physical labor, he will get home and then mow the lawn or plow the driveway so I don't have to do either). But god, some flowers. Or take me on a date. Or a text once in awhile just saying he loves me! yeesh.

I'm thankful a 3 day weekend! And for my parents backyard pool - relaxing, beautiful, private, and there's always beer! And that it's going to be mid 80's this weekend so I can enjoy said pool and 3-day weekend.

I am thankful that I will be leaving on vacation in less than 48 hours and will be away from work for 2 weeks. I am thankful that tomorrow evening I will be drinking.

I am thankful that I don't have to get out of bed at a ridiculous hour for three days in a row. I'm also thankful for getting to see H&F friends almost every day this long weekend!
I'm thankful that I only have 4 more days of school - Can't wait to run in the mornings again:)
I'm thankful for our vacation to San Francisco - it's fun to start off the summer with a vacation full of yummy food and wine.
I'm thankful for a fun weekend ahead of me that will be full of grilling out, lots of desserts, running a fun 5K, seeing friends, and spending my DH's birthday together.

I am thankful for my parents and for being able to visit my family for a couple weeks. I'm grateful that they are willing to care for one of my dogs for a little while when we move.
I'm also thankful for my littlest goofball, who turns two tomorrow, and for being able to take him on a birthday trip to Disneyland.
I am thankful that I have the entire three day weekend to myself. I am a little sad that Mr. GT won't be here. He is going to his brother's grad school graduation that we were only notified of three weeks ago. It is in Canada and I refuse to spend 24 hrs in the car or $500 (each) to attend.
I am thankful that my impromptu NST yesterday was perfect (I got into the worlds smallest fender bender and my OB wanted me to go to L&D to get checked...turns out that means NST) and that Junior kicked the monitors and me/flipped around/got the hiccups the whole time.
I am thankful that J was able to come keep me company for the last hour or so of said NST (he was off yesterday but I told him not to come b/c I knew everything was fine and he had stuff to do...he came anyway because he knew I was bored)
I am NOT thankful that the NST was FOUR HOURS LONG. During which I could not eat lunch, and did not have TV or magazines to occupy me. Needless to say I am keeping my Kindle with me at all times now, just in case.
I am thankful that we will be around family for the next 3 weeks! I love my daughter, but OMG she is getting heavy! Other people can hold her and I can sit back and watch! Woo hoo
Also thankful that L loves her mango puree pouches and that I can buy more, because Mom secretly loves to steal spoonfuls of it, too.
I want to say something about every one of these thankfuls, because they are all so great!
I'm thankful for H who took DD to gymnastics and then to work today so that I could go on a long ride this morning. 4 hours - my longest ride yet this year! And thankful for aloe because I got burned a little bit (I swear I put screen on!)
I am thankful for the long weekend. DH and I are painting our garage door. We do not love doing house projects like other people. But to have 2 days off together rarely happens, we need to take advantage.
I am thankful for my parents. Our Easter Basket contained a Lowe's gift card which covered most of the supplies for the paint. At our age, there is no need for an Easter basket but they are simply supportive and giving.
