I have major foot issues. Long story short, I have one leg shorter than the other and I walk incorrectly. Walking wrong my entire life led to some weak tendons and muscles, which means that my patella (knee) dislocates a lot.
I also have a lot of foot pain, get ingrown toenails, blisters, etc.
I'm getting fitted for orthodics to correct the difference in height and hopefully help some of the foot pain.
When I run, my lungs can go for a long time but my legs and feet hurt so badly I have to keep stopping. Anyone run in orthodic inserts?? I wonder if I can run with them in...

I do. I have MPT synovitis and went to an ortho when running was causing so much pain. Part of her prescription to me was custom orthotics that I could run in to help position my foot in a way that would eliminate the pressure problem. The person who made them for me was a triathlete and really helped me think through training with them.
ok, good. Not that I am a great runner or anything but it's frustrating when I am building up endurance but have to stop running because my feet are screaming.
