Why do some seedlings get sewn to stay and others you're supposed to sew close together or several to a hole and thin later? My acorn squash and pumpkins said to sew 2-4 to a hole and don't thin.
Just seems odd, but I guess it's plant specific.
Also, as DH observed, I am unreasonable giddy when seeds start sprouting in my garden - like it's a miracle I never expected to happen. Clearly, I'm new to gardening w/seeds.
It's a gardener thing! LOL I'm also really giddy about new seeds sprouting. Which reminds me, I need to walk around and see if my Zinnias sprouted yet.
