I should, and then kick them in the balls.
This is especially disappointing since this restaurant widely advertises being gluten free friendly, has a special menu, even marks your place at the table with a little card so the servers all know.
But, these are the risks I choose to take when I eat at a place that has regular food in the same kitchen. It happens infrequently so I don't get too upset over it. It's my own fault for choosing to eat out, but it's still pretty lame.

I think you should definitely inform them what happened then. You don't have to be an ass about it, though I would, but if they are going to advertise their GF menu, then they need to know what their carelessness does.

You might still want to call just they know that there was a slip. I think places that are making the efforts to serve gluten free would want to know if something like this happened.

Yeah, I am going to. I would have said something before I left the restaurant, but I was just suspicious, not positive. It takes a few minutes to kick in.
It will go away. Usually I get gross awful GI stuff for 2-3 days, and then just generally crummy feeling for a few more days. If my skin gets bad I sometimes have to get prednisone, but hopefully that won't happen. I am not feeling itchy yet so it might not be bad this time; it's not always the same.
