A CW has been trying to convince to try it with her, and I might just do it. I've just heard it is really intense (and I'm kind of a wimp about very intense workouts daily). I know (at least I've heard) it's effective. I've just heard so many times that you work out so hard, you're about to vomit.
Is it worth it? Did you follow the diet plan with it? Any good blogs you've read to keep you motivated/inspired?
I did it several years ago and really enjoyed it. I do remember thinking that the time commitment was too big between full time work & school, but in reality it was the same as driving to the gym, doing an hour class, and driving home. I can't stand Tony Horton, though. After a couple of weeks you can mute him

I really like it and might do it again. Some workouts are really tough, but most are challenging yet doable. Plus it offers many options to do the exercises in a way suitable for your current level of fitness. You will definitely see progress as you do the program and that's exciting.
The hardest part is finding the time. It's a pretty big time suck (60-90 minutes, 6 days a week).
I didn't follow the diet.
ETA: The beachbody.com website can be good for motivation during P90X. The forums usually have groups dedicated to a start date where you can "check in" and motivate each other. For instance, there's probably a group starting on June 1st that you can join. If not, you can start your own. They also have the WOWY feature (Work Out With You) where you can find an online buddy. I haven't tried that, though.
I don't follow the diet, but do the workouts every now and again. They are killer, especially the plyometrics one. I enjoy them. I think if you followed it correctly you would get great results.
