Is the paint a flat or matte finish? I use matte for everything and touch ups always look fine, even if I do them a few months later. It might be harder to hide on satin or semi gloss, though.
I touch up all the time (I'm uptight about things like nail holes, scratches etc.) and it's never been an issue. There's places I'm talking seven years later. I have mostly satin and semigloss and it's fine. My painter told me it's only the really cheap builder grade paint that doesn't touch up well but who knows.

Should be fine, especially if you bought good quality paint.
I just touched up spots in the hall and dining room that our drywall installer messed up when they did the kitchen. The original paint was over three and a half years old, and you can't see my touch ups.
