I have no advice on what pill you should take, but if you're out, you can go into any pharmacy, give them your information about where you last filled your RX and they'll be able to transfer it and fill it there.
Your body could just be getting used to that pill and therefore you are having more spotting - this happened to me on a certain pill. I don't know what advice to give you since you have a hard time off the pill, it might make sense to stay on it if the only annoyance is break through bleeding until you can get to your doctor for another option.

It's just weird that I was fine on this pill for like 2 years and the last several months have had the relentless spotting. Like my body is rejecting it.
Yeah that happened to me when I was on sprintec - I took it for 3-4 years and all of a sudden I just had tons of spotting and break through bleeding all the time.

I also take Seasonale and it worked for me like a charm for 1 year. At that point I started having breakthrough bleeding and all kinds of issues but I noticed that it always occurred at the 5-6 week mark and it would drag on from there. I talked it over with my doctor and I now take the pill until I start to bloat and spot and then I go off for one week and have my period. I then start back up. I've been on that same schedule for 3 years and it has worked like a charm.
She said that my natural hormonal cycle was probably too strong and my body was overriding the medications attempt to keep me from having my period for 15 weeks. I was having a similar issue with tri-phasics before where my body was trying to stick with a 35 day schedule for some ungodly reason.

I'm overseas, so I'd have to look into this option but it might be tricky.
Lurker coming out...have you checked a pharmacy where you are? I live in the Middle East and BCP is over the counter, no prescription needed! May be worth it to see what they have available.

If I were you, I'd try taking the seasonale as a monthly BCP. So take it for 3 weeks, then no pills for 1 week. Or 4 weeks on, 1 week off. It doesn't really matter. As long as it's a Monophasic pill (same dose every day, not different every week), you can do that. Hope you find something that works.
