Using coconut oil as a lube while TTC?

From hanging out on ML, I recently started using coconut oil as a lube and really like it. We are planning to TTC in July and I've gathered that you should use Preseed instead of regular lube, but I was wondering if any of you have run across anything saying whether or not coconut oil is ok as well. Googling has given me mixed results. Thanks in advance!

I haven't heard about using coconut oil so I'm no help, but curious.

Some things that I've read say that natural lubes are much better for TTC than any chemical/artificial ones. Some websites suggested different kinds of oil, so I would say it would be a safe bet.

Thank you, that's kind of what I was thinking. I will try it for a few months at least and see how it goes

I have never heard of using it as lube to begin with. I am now curious.

I hadn't either until the really long thread about uses of coconut oil  I really like it!

Just don't get the kitchen coconut oil and the bedroom coconut oil mixed up.

I would be worried about coconut oils effect on the sperm. Preseed is made to be a sperm friendly lube, so if I were TTC, I would stick with that.
