I'm feeling similarly. It's hard, we just have to remind ourselves of that. I'm very glad nothing happened, lesson learned the hard way, but I am so glad you are okay!
Everyone has faults and no one is perfect. It's so easy to blame ourselves for not finding the person quickly, but from what I'm told, finding the right person is worth the wait. I know it get lonely (oh, how I know!) but I guess in some sucky way it'll make us that more appreciative when we find the right guys for us, right?
What city are you closer to (if you feel comfortable saying)? I am so envious of your move and new job! Get to know your new city and fall in love with it. A good time passer for now!

I'm sorry that you had to deal with the aggressive guy, and I'm glad you're ok. Just ditto PPs--you're awesome, and you deserve someone awesome. But, just focus on you, getting settled, and building your new life there, for now!
Dude, you just up and moved and are adjusting to your new fabulous life there....take a small break from dating to get your feet on the ground. Bad experiences are going to be amplified because of all the changes happening right now.
I adore you....now take a break to take in all of the new, amazing things, that have changed!
Team Doris. I love you! I am sorry that guy was a scary creeper. Take some time to get to know your area and coworkers and regular people, then resume dating.
I am a little about the asking if there are a lot of lesbians in LA. I am not sure why, but that doesn't sit right with me. Gay, straight, black, white, male, female people are everywhere. If someone made a story about my life, you would think Oklahoma was FILLED with gay people because that is the group I hang out with and hence come into contact with more. I don't think you mean to offend and I can't even explain why it didn't sit right with me. I just had to get that out there.
