I have about 40 pages left. I was already tearing up on the T this morning and should probably wait until I get home to finish.
I will withhold final verdict until I am done, but of the 3 it has been my least favorite. That's not to say I don't think its very good, but more 4 stars instead of the 5 stars I gave KR and ATSS. Buuuut, the end of both those books are the best parts so my opinion could certainly change. I just think there were too many stories going on, and as soon as I started to get really invested in one it would switch to another.
I'm almost done- about 20 pages left. I'm going to wait to finish it until I get home, though. I don't need to be crying at work/on the bus.
I agree with you on the 4 stars so far. I think it was a bit disjointed, and I was distracted at the beginning pages of each chapter because I was trying to figure out how the narrator was connected to the initial story. But his writing is just ...beautiful. There's no other word for it, really. It's so evocative and emotional and lyrical. I just wish he'd use it to write a less depressing story next time, heh.
