I don't know if I have a twin, but I love Boiler's style and if our house was actually finished, we'd have a lot of similar/the same finishes as far as flooring and tile and paint colors go.
@juno, I love her bungalow, and aspire to have mine as awesome as hers someday. And the rugs...I'm waiting to inherit some.
Aw, well, I'm jealous of all your really cool furniture. From the interactions I've had with you, I do think we are similar (Indian food lovers unite!). If Marmee is who I think she is, I just wish I could pull off some of the pics I've seen of her place(s?). If she's not, then I'm just tagging a random GBCNer for no good reason.
The cheap lowes multicolor flower? I love them! Yet I think our style is not similar but I love it! I like how you can pull off vintagey to match your home but in a modern way.
Yes, I love them too! They are totally my color palate and H always appreciates when florals aren't too girly. And bless you for always being so sweet about my rundown old house.

Who do you think I am? . I've owned a ranch in Las Veas & now own a bungalow & Denver Square in Colorado. Does that sound right? I haven't posted pics under this name I don't think...well maybe a couple. . I cant recall seeing your pics so i cant confirm or deny. If we are similar. So im Not sure who my twin is...I like old houses with character & color. For decor I like original art pieces & stuff like MC or clean lined furniture. Not into a whole lot of frills. I think Bunnymendelson & I have some similar likes, probably since we are both Architect married to Architects (right?). Lol.

I don't want to out you. Old name here started with a c, 10 letters? I do think I saw a few pics under that name. However, I think I'm blending you with someone from the PNW from TN (Seattle, Portland?). She had one really wonderful vintage bathroom stuff. Anyway, I thought I remembered we were fellow old house lovers.

Yes, CB is me! I think I know who I think you are talking about. Queenbone I believe is her name. I have her bog saves somewhere I think. I am a fellow old house lover...mine have been 1942, 1928 & 1900. I'm a "save the windows" person too.
Yes yes yes! That's her. I think I blended you together as one person because I like both your pics, though I can't really remember any specifics about yours now.

The people who bought the house we renovated from 2003-2006 in LV have it up for vrbo. It looks pretty much the same now but with their furniture. I don't think I have pics of my other 2 up anywhere except FB & some on Instagram.
here is our first house which was our youngest at 1942

I haven't seen that one; it's lovely. Love all the bin pulls! Can't tell if we're style twinsies since that's their stuff. I'm guessing I've seen some pics of your Denver places before.

Ah yes, the architect incest! True!
In addition to Quattro, think I find myself agreeing with Munkii a lot.
Mine is probably wawa (which I could tag her but apparently the @ function is broken this morning). Anyway, we finish each others decor sentences and she is living my dream with her current house reno.
True true. Especially our willingness to loudly snark on people who rip apart old houses and drown their character in open floor plans and laminate flooring. *weeps*
I'm going to go with THR. We have vastly different styles and she does everything better than me, but the thing about her is, her houses are actually quite simple structure wise (like mine) and she does the best she can with them. She also has no problem whipping up dinner for 10 like it was no problem at all. She's very casual about that stuff.
WOP and I both like simple and work with what you got...and neither of us really give a damn if someone else approves or not..lol.
I think @juno. Our house was built in 1918 and has some craftsman accents (built in bookcases, inlaid floors, pocket doors, lots of wood trim, etc.), which we've tried to keep as we renovate. Plus my husband is a sucker for mission and craftsman style furniture
Well, considering the fact that boiler717 's house is even similar in elevation, and after looking again at our home bios, I would have to agree with this
I'm completely brand new to this board (not to GBCN) so I have no idea what everyone's styles look like. I also have no idea what my style is since we haven't moved in our house yet. I'm excited to look at ideas for inspiration and ask for advice from you ladies.

Welcome I was crossing my fingers that you'd be back, specifically with pictures. There's not nearly enough old house porn around these parts for me LOL.
Aw, thanks @juno! I don't have an old house by most standards, but for my area I think it is (1978). I cannot wait until we move in a few weeks. The house has been renovated, but the original dentil crown molding and wood floors look great. We also have the built ins and wood panel walls in the living room, lol.
