Micah's had heat rash off and on for several months now. It's only become alarming in the last month, but the pedi doesn't want to see it unless it's "blood red." What have you used to successfully treat it in the past? I usually treat with Aquafor and/or hydro-cortisone cream at night and then baby powder on his back in the morning, which usually prevents future problems (at least for the next day).

My niece had that rash for basically her entire first year. She has incredibly sensitive skin and would react to everything. Changing detergents helped a bit but not much. They would use an rx cream and a lot of aquaphor.
I feel like I'm just accepting Camden has weird rashes. Obviously they are a mystery to me and everyone else (everytime I call the Dr. they say its something different), and they aren't hurting him so I've kind of given up on trying to fix it, just keeping an eye out for if it gets much worse.
Noah has this same thing and we do the same with the hydrocortisone but it always comes back. I have no idea what it is! The pedi always says eczema. If your dermatologist gives you an answer let me know! It doesn't seem to bother him but like you it makes me feel bad.

Oh no! Poor L! In my not-so-expert opinion, it does not look like a food allergy. If I had to guess, I would say some kind of environmental issue. Have you tried switching detergents? Do you notice it more in the heat? I hope you can get some answers.

Our usual routine is limiting baths, Aquaphor, Eucerin, and on nights when it's a bad breakout, the hydrocortisone cream goes on by itself instead of Aquaphor. They told us to do this when they said it was eczema. We do this all the time, and it still happens, regardless. The hydrocortisone cream usually needs to be applied for 2-3 days before we see any results (plus I don't want to use it more than that), and the results usually last for about a week.
Have you tried bathing more frequently? When Ari was having his bad eczema issues his pedi actually said to bathe more often because his skin was incredibly dry.
You are not alone (cue MJ song). Theo has very sensitive skin and had a similar rash to this one a couple of weeks ago. We didn't take him in, but assumed it was heat rash. It cleared up in about a week with limited baths and hydrocortisone cream 2x day (for the first 3 days). I hope L's clears up soon.
