Today was a really lousy day, so I need something to smile at. I love seeing the dumb things people see on facebook. Anyone? I'll share my top 3 eyeroll-worthy posts:
1. From my SIL (who desperately needs a job, and I mean always-in-danger-of-eviction desperately): They told me to come in again Thursday before 3:30. I don't know if I can or will. I'd have to take my bike instead of the scooter, and I'm not sure I can get up the hills. I also hate biking on the road and a lot of it has no sidewalks.
Yes, she needs a job terribly, but apparently not badly enough to ride her bike the 1 mile to get there.
2. A gem from my dad: "Get involved! It's time to take back America!"
I wasn't aware anyone had stolen it.
3. And then there's my friend who's taking us all through the detailed journey of her breast reduction.
What stupid/fun/eyeroll-worthy things have you seen on facebook recently?

IG photo of my friend's girl holding a 7 outfit begging the little girl's aunt to buy it for her. In comments, it was noted that the outfit was not purchased, due to it being too small, but the aunt did buy the not yet 12 month old a couple pairs of 7 jeans. "They will be on their way...no little girl should be without designer jeans "
(I didn't even know what "7" was until I saw a listing on ebay for my size jeans and looked them up.)
My SIL who is constantly posting political and anti Obama crap.
I have several friends/family members like that too, or rather, I had. I've blocked/un-friended some of them and others un-friended me because I think they were annoyed at my frequent fact-checking.

I'm glad you said what they were. When I started reading the post, I figured the 7 was a typo.

I don't even bother with her. I avoid her at all cost. She doesn't post much and if she didn't post pics of my nieces, I'd block her
Oooh! My cousin's soon-to-be-ex-wife has been writing all sorts of weird/hilarious/sad shit lately:
Getting my feet done with mom at Tony's nails The guy may need a sand blaster but I'm acting like I don't know and fb surfing away Lol
A lot of her status updates are accompanied by out-of-focus and depressing pictures of her kid (the same age as H).
Why are the pictures depressing?
It's hard to describe without actually posting one. They are all blurry or smeary, taken at weird angles ... or they are of the kid at some fast-food place with captions like, "Just another day in paradise with my perfect angel bear!" It guess they're depressing if you know the whole background story; the woman is a train wreck, and it's sad to watch because her daughter and H are only weeks apart in age.

That does sound sad. I've got a few friends whose kids I kind of want to scoop up sometimes, so I can' imagine seeing the pictures is a reminder.
