How many of these bad boys do you have? I feel like we have a bunch, but that when I need one, there's never one clean. Maybe it's because we never did a lot of bottles, but I just feel like I need a million so I can avoid nightly washing of cups. I guess it's because some are better for water or some leak. Or that I don't reuse milk cups usually. I don't know. It just seem like I need a lot more cups up in here.
And, while I'm at it....how long do you keep milk in a sippy? I try not to give her too much, so she'll finish it in one sitting. But, if not, do you just throw it back in the fridge?? How many times?
We have so many!! I just went through them and put some away.
I usually leave milk in one for a day but I don't let it sit out more than 30min or so at a time. She's not a big milk drinker (it's actually almond milk)

I think I have 4 but am about to get more since she is doing better with the sippy lately.
I usually give her milk with breakfast, water at lunch (occasionally juice) and then milk at dinner. If she doesn't finish the milk by the end of the day, it gets dumped and the cup is washed.
6 that he uses. He has 5 others that he either doesn't use yet or he doesn't like as much or they leak a lot. We normally use 2 per day. 1 for water and 1 for almond/coconut milk.
There are 4 main ones in rotation and about 4-5 that we randomly use and a few more that we used when he was younger but gets us through. He normally only uses one sippy a day, unless it falls into something gross outside or whatever. He only drinks water our of them because we still nurse every 2-5 hours.

I need to start reusing milk cups. Our dishes are freaking insane right now. I run it every day and I feel like the whole top rack is full of sippy cups. I've always just given them 1 water cup for the day and a different milk cup every time they get milk! I don't know why, reusing a milk cup just seemed gross to me for some reason and we just use rice milk! But that would be a total of 4 cups a day for Linus and 3 cups for Fiona (plus 1 or 2 bottles).
Oh yeah, to answer the second part of your q, we use 1 water cup all day and 1 milk cup. I periodically rinse and refresh them. I let her milk sit out for up to 2 hours. I wonder if that's ok for food safety?? I hadn't thought too much about it.
We have 7 in heavy rotation (2 dr browns, 4 nuk and 1 nuby) and probably another dozen that he doesn't like (mostly the straw ones or those that are more like a cup).
We do 2 water cups and 1 milk cup a day. I feel like I need more of the ones he likes.

I have six that he'll actually use. I keep his milk one in the fridge all day and his water one out, and then there's normally one in the car for water.
We have 9 I believe. LOL. 7 are straw sippies, which he drinks his milk in. The other 2 are regular sippies with a spout and handles, and he rarely uses those, but if he does, they are for water.
We go through a LOT of sippies though. I reuse milk ones for at LEAST 1 day. I'll give him milk and then keep putting it back in the fridge. I only give him enough to drink at once, so then I'll put the empty sippy cup in the fridge and just take it out/put milk in the next time. But he goes through a lot of water sippies for lunch. They always get covered in food and disgusting. So often he gets 2 different water sippy cups throughout the day, plus a milk one. That could be 3 sippy's a day, so I can get through until I need to run the dishwasher anyway. Its worked out great.

About 8. But I have 2 kids.
We use them for multiple days. We "store" them in the fridge overnight. We do the same with the glasses we use so we aren't clogging up the dishwasher with items that aren't really dirty.

5 I think. One is a straw cup. Three nuk cups and an ikea one. I don't really use the ikea one as it doesn't have the "flow stopping" thing and she likes to just take a sip then fling the cup away dramatically, then retrieve it. (or I retrieve it repeatedly when she is in the chair) sigh
They are just for water since she doesn't drink milk. I leave the cup of water out and then the next day rinse it out and put new water in. Then, every couple of days they go through the dishwasher
So so many, but I am a sippy cup addict. We have a bunch from Lydia as well.
But I reuse the milk cup all day and keep in the fridge in between. I keep her cup out for about two hours as well and we have always done this with Lydia and she has not grown a third head yet.
We have 4 sippies and 4 bottles. We had 2 sippies for the longest time and she's been drinking so much water lately I went out and got 2 more a couple weeks ago.
We have 5 that she uses and then 3 straw ones that she doesn't use. I use the same one for water all day and then she gets a clean milk sippy each time. I usually wash them as we go.
