I don't have it on me, and I'm on my phone. But google Jose Andreas white sangria or cava sangria. You mix juice, brandy, and fruit and let all the flavors mingle. Then you add sparkling white wine at the end. The one they serve at Jaleo has strawberries and mint. So refreshing on a hot day!
I don't remember where I found this one but we love it! We make it with our homemade wine. You can use either red or white wine. When we do white wine, sometimes I do peaches instead. You can also skip the apple too.
1 1/2 L wine 1 cup Sugar 1 large Lemon, sliced 1 large Orange, sliced 1 large Apple, cut into thin sections 3-4 oz plain Brandy Soda water
Instructions: Mix wine, sugar and fruit, and let sit in the fridge for 18-24 hours. The mixture will have a somewhat syrupy consistency. Before serving stir in brandy and cut the mixture with soda water until it have a thinner, more wine like consistency. Serve from a pitcher in wine glasses.
This is my go-to with some random variations depending what I feel like. It's best after sitting a few hours
•Two bottles red wine - •One bottle sparking cider - 25.4 oz. •One can san pelligrino aranciata (orangata) 11.5 oz. •Two bottles san pelligrino limonata - 6.7 oz. each •Half bottle brandy - about 1 cup •Two limes - chopped small pieces •One orange - chopped medium pieces •One granny smith apple - chopped medium pieces •About 2/3 cup sugar ( may add more - need to taste it chilled)
You really don't need to use the sparkling apple cider, I just believe it helps the muddling process due to the fizz.
