I am almost finished with Gone Girl. It was slow at first but now I'm tearing through it. I have Hell Hound on His Trail next; it is about the assassination of MLK Jr. Living in Memphis and working blocks from the Lorraine, I think this will be an interesting read.
I'm reading Behind the Beautiful Forevers: Life, Death, and Hope in a Mumbai Undercity by Katherine Boo. Over half way through. Once you get into it, it goes pretty fast, although there are a lot of different families/people.

I wanted to read this but I seriously couldn't get passed the first chapter without tearing up. She seems to be a really good writer though.
I'm reading The Perfect Summer: England 1911, Just Before the Storm by Juliet Nicholson. It's ok so far.

I just (like half an hour ago) finished Khaled Hosseini's And The Mountains Echoed, and I've finally stopped crying. It's really haunting and beautiful, but I would put it like a half-star below his other two novels. But that still makes it a 4-4 1/2 star novel.
I just started Royal Blood by Rhys Bowen, the fourth (I think) in the Her Royal Spyness series. It's fluff, but I needed a quick read and some brain candy. Also still re-reading Jane Eyre little by little.
Nothing at the moment. I'm in a hangover from the last book I read, which I loved - Me Before You, Jo Jo Moyes.
I might start The Selection by Keira Cass next.
What did you like about Me Before You? I keep seeing rave reviews but the plot description is not at all appealing to me. I can't decide if I need to try it anyway.

charlatti, the description doesn't really do it justice, nor does the cover. True, it is about two characters who are complete opposites fall in love, but I guess the appeal is in how they change each other and grow. Also, Will's struggle is really heartbreaking. (I hope that isn't too spoilery.)
I'm reading The Dark Light by Mette Newth. It's like a lot like Molokai'i but it's YA set in Norway (and published a decade earlier). I had no idea before reading this that they found the cure for leprosy in Norway.

I have a copy of this, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Glad to hear good things!
I actually really liked this one, because it was exactly what I wanted it to be. Pretty dresses and fluffy YA romance. It's a weird mix of Princess Diaries and Hunger Games! Haha! (My only qualm is that I think it's really just one book, and I'm slightly annoyed that I have to read/buy it in three parts.)

Positive feedback is good! I actually have The Prince, too. Should I read that one first?

I haven't read it, but I don't think I would read it before The Selection.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (re-read) and Under the Dome. I have UTD on my Kindle, so it's my "travel book" and HP on my nightstand for night time reading.

I just read this book, and I agree completely. I didn't know much about it other than it was getting rave reviews, and I was completely in love with it by the end.
I just finished book two in the Gallaghers of Ardmore trilogy by Nora Roberts, Tears of the Moon. It was amazing. Better than book 1. Ready to start book 3 tomorrow.
Next I'm debating reading The Hunger Games trilogy or re-reading the Harry Potter series or starting another NR book.
