CDing Mamas... help me decide!

A has become the heaviest night time pee-er.  We generally use pocket diapers and at night time we use either our rumparooz or our bum genius free time.  We even tried disposables a few nights.  She leaks out of all of them.  We've started getting her up and changing her diaper before we go to bed so that she'll make it to morning without leaking.  I'd prefer not to have to disturb her sleep like this.  We've tried stuffing the pockets with different optins like hemp and bamboo and they don't really work.  Should I try fitteds OR some charcoal bamboo inserts?  What say you?

Have you tried the kawaii heavy wetter? It's a different outer material so it's supposed to not leak

Another CDing mom I know swears by fitteds and covers for overnight.

The best I have found are the Flips I have. I double up the inserts at night. Their cotton inserts seem to last the longest.

I have a really heavy night wetter bc I nurse at night. We use a bumgenius pocket diaper, then add a softbums giant bamboo insert outside of the pocket. Sometimes I've been ok with using 2 bumgenius inserts stuffed into the pocket.

haha we TRIED disposables but those leak, too!  So no judgement here

Thanks, ladies! I think I'm going to go home and pull out everything I have i my stash and try some new combos. If those don't work I'm going to try a fitted and also maybe that Kawaii one!

Us too, see confession in potty training thread. The nighttime sposies have only leaked once or twice and we nurse up to 4xs a night. Ain't nobody got time to change the sheets everyday.

Since I've been back to work, my DH has been putting him in disposables during the day, too. Grrrrr!!

We use fitteds, sometimes with inserts, and wool covers.

A doesn't pee much at night, but she floods first thing in the morning. I've started upping her stuffing to accommodate us trying to get her to sleep later. I've found that a Kawaii with 1 MF followed by 2 hemp works great. I have not tried other options like the har coal though.

I don't personally CD, but a good friend does. They decided to use 7th Gen overnights due to leaking.

We use Pampers Extra Protection at night, and that thing is like a football when she wakes up, but it never leaks. Size up if you need to.
