How did you like it? I want to do it but I can't seem to find a solid 3 days where I don't have plans that would interfere with it! It can't be over Friday night/Saturday bc of Shabbat. This week is our anniversary and we're going to an amazing hole in the wall Italian place and I want cheese, not juice. Then I have our synagogue's annual dinner. Then we have an NYC gtg. Arg.
Anyway - how did you feel during it? We're you hungry at all? I drink the juices a lot as a snack thorough out the day and don't even mind the green juice anymore, but I don't know if that's all I can have for the day...
I weirdly liked it! I wasn't hungry, which I thought was WEIRD (I'm a big eater). I also didn't have as big an issue with no coffee/soda as I thought. We did prep a little - the weekend before was my Avon Walk so I barely had any caffeine, and the two days before we cut out all soda and ate carb and meat free.
I haaaaated the green juice. Made me want to cry that it was twice a day. I liked all the others, though.
I wasn't hungry or lightheaded at all. I still went to the gym and did my usual classes each day and felt fine. I craved eating, but not due to hunger, you know?
I lost 6 pounds in 3 days (!) but I didn't do it for weight loss (since it is obviously mostly water weight and comes back right away). I felt really good at the end - I can see how it gets addictive. I think you can get the same results/feeling just eating very clean, but this is kind if the lazy mans option - no thinking or prep involved (and no dishes for 3 days!!). I want to try a 5 day, but man it is pricey. I think before our Hawaii trip next year
The day after we finished we went to the Cape and I are fried fish and pie constantly for the next 4 days, lol. Im still down 3 pounds, which I find surprising after my gorge fest
And I was bummed because I went to Whole Foods this morning and ours doesn't carry them I have been craving the pineapple one and the beet one! (And I hate beets!)
I'm drinking the pineapple one right now! I love it. So does J. He takes a sip and does a little shudder of delight.
Do you find you crave processed food less? I know Trudy said that happens for her. I'm such a snacker, which totally derails my weight loss efforts, so I'm hoping the cleanse will help me stop wanting cheesy popcorn all the time!

Yes! I did crave burgers, but I am borderline anemic so I think I just wasn't getting enough iron.
.....and, I haven't had a soda in almost two weeks! This is HUGE. I was a 4 diet coke a day minimum person.
Wow! I should get my H to try it, he drinks so much Diet Coke.
I did tell him he could eat whatever crap he wanted while I do it, including from the greasy Chinese place I hate. Now he keeps asking when I'm going to do it.
