As with the recent decline with LLL quality, I'm happy to report a positive experience.
I was on vacation in Charleston, SC last week and purchased a few items from their store. One of them being the Contempo jacket which I love, BTW. It's like a cross between the Stride & Define.
Anyway, earlier this week I realized that they had dropped the price online by $20! So I contacted the online Educator who informed me that I would have to contact the store directly. I called the store today and they insisted that they could not do anything over the phone.
Just as I thought I'd lost out on the $20, I contacted the online Educator again. And they're now sending me a GC for the $20 plus tax! I don't know what transpired between earlier this week and today with the online Educators. My guess is that a lot of people have either complained or I just got lucky with this particular Educator but regardless I am very pleased with the customer service today. That is how you keep a loyal customer happy, LLL!
Just thought I'd share my great experience and in case anyone's eying the jacket. More pics on my blog.
The jacket is cute, but IMO thats not great customer service. You had to make three different phone calls just to get a reasonable solution that should have been offered right off the bat. Don't get me wrong, I love LLL's clothes... but I would be really annoyed if I had to call three times.
I'm glad they offered you a GC. The customer service at the LLL where I live completely sucks. I would probably buy more things from them if I didn't hate going in there.

I don't know. I think it's pretty great, considering they weren't obligated to do anything. Things go on sale all the time...if you buy before a sale, them's the breaks, you know?
