Yeah, I know. I got up at 4:30 this morning so I could eat and be out the door by 5:30 for my long run. Ill be asleep by 8 tonight! On the flip side, I've been super productive all morning
Yeah, I ran at 8:30am and wanted to die. I contemplated getting up at 5, but DD was up multiple times last night (kid sleeps through the night on the weekdays, but not on the weekends . . . wtf, kid?)
I was up at 6 this morning to run. Weekdays I have to be finished and in the shower by 6 or 6:30 though so a 4:30 or 5 wake-up call has become the norm over the past few weeks so that I can avoid the heat after work.
It's been getting pretty hot lately, but at least it's not humid. I'm a heat wimp too. How was the training group today?
I know! And I used to be used to humidity, but I will say that the sun here is a whole different animal. 65 degrees on the thermometer can feel like 8 billion when you are in the sun.
Running group was ok! I felt more relaxed this time and ran most of it on my own, chatting a little with people here and there if we happened to be together on the trail. It was a trail run (bear canyon? Over by Juan Tabo) which was hot and dirty, but it was pretty good.

Yay, I'm so glad it was better! I adore bear canyon. Good for you for getting out there! Can't wait to see you two tomorrow!
Oh yeah, and after today I am not holding my breath for a 5k pr tomorrow. I will try for it, but heat and I do not play well together. PRs can be for winter races.
