Congrats on your accomplishment!!! I know how hard it is ~ tomorrow is 6 weeks for DH and I. Life is just better without it!!!

I think that's the key....not missing it and not feeling like you are depriving yourself. If you remind yourself that you don't want it anyway, those urges pass! And isn't it wonderful to be able to keep up with people when being active!?!?

That was the main reason for quitting. I found myself getting winded just playing at the playground with des. The clincher was when I was teaching him to ride his bike and legit thought that I was having a heart attack.
I was never a super heavy smoker (pack every two day) but even that was too much.
