Normally, I don't really have to gripe about DH, he does the best he can, and I appreciate the things he does. But today he is putting me over the edge. Every little thing he does he wants to be super praised for. Arghhh. Look, I cleaned the kitchen counter. Look, the dishwasher is empty. Well goody for you babe. Didn't matter that I peeled and deveined all the shrimp for dinner last night, cooked it all, then made dessert, and cleaned up. All while watching Joshua. I know we are super moms, but do I need to pat DH's little head all the freakin time?
ok, vent over. Maybe not. I just vacuumed and mopped the house while they are taking a nap together.

My husband does the same thing at times. I ask him if he wants a sticker chart on the fridge. It can be so annoying and to me it takes away from the fact that they actually did something.
I feel you. Mine is like this almost all the time. It's like, dude. I do this stuff all the time. And not because I want praise, but because its what you do as an adult and a parent. Suck it up, buttercup.
Lol @ sticker chart! XH made a big deal about taking out the trash and Eli made the comment "all you did was take out the trash." I nearly died laughing.
