If you ask the people around me, they would say my history of freak accidents and constant injuries is the most memorable thing about me. Especially the people who were around me when I broke my ankle by tripping over my own feet (unfortunately, there were way too many people around. It turned into a running joke). We all thought I was fine until I went to the doctor a few days later and it was broken.
I own every Mercedes Lackey book in print and almost all of the ones out of print. I consider her my form of reality tv. Almost no substance, but good for when I'm stressed.
Most of my bookcases are alphabetized by author and subject. I donated half my books, so I'm down to about 900.
I just finished my bachelor's degree. It's in English with Technical Writing, and when I started it the technical writing field in my area was really good. Unfortunately, they're one of the first areas to be laid off, so there are so many technical writers with experience looking for jobs that if you don't have experience you don't have a chance.
I've spent three summers interning for different government agencies, and two of them were hoping to hire me long term, but with the sequestration in effect they can't even hire summer interns. I had two summer hire offers before the sequestration went into effect, so they disappeared.

I think we're just going out to dinner. One of his cousins just sent us a gift card to a nice restaurant, so we'll probably go there. Lol I'm going to have to remember that one for if I ever forget a wedding gift- it came with a note that said they never sent a wedding gift, and since it's almost a year they thought we might like a nice dinner for our first anniversary.
