I wouldn't automatically know how to pronounce it, but that's nbd. I would hear it once and remember it. I have to say that it IS kind of odd having a kid with a one-syllable name - there's no natural nickname, so we end up coming up with some weird ones (but I'm sure we'd do that anyway). I do like the e on the end (Rhyse) but there's something to be said for using the original spelling.
I agree with pp's about Taylor/Taylore. I like the name but I've never seen it with the "e" and I pronounced it to rhyme with Dumbledore.
I can already think of a ton of nn's for Rhys/Reese!! Thats why I love it - we are big nn people. I think Camden already had a few before he was even born. haahah
