It was our boy name for D but I wasn't sure about it then and I'm still on the fence. Ian loves it! We can't agree on any other boy names.
My main issue is that I don't like single syllable names- but that's dumb I know. Also I know "Reese" is getting more popular for girls but not such a big deal, especially since we're using the masculine spelling. Oh and I know some people that haven't seen this spelling think "rice" but I like this spelling.
No I will not be announcing a bfp soon. Just thinking about names
Reese is our girls name. I told DH if we have a girl, I honestly dont want to budge. I WANT REESE.
But I also love the name for a boy. But I really dont like the Rhys spelling - I know thats the original..but it looks so unfinished to me.
I should mention also that dh's family is Welsh so that's another reason for the spelling.
I do like Reese for a girl too! When we couldn't decide on a girl name last time I tried to convince Ian to use Rhys/Reese either way but he didn't want to in case we had a boy second.
Maybe I should ask again? Even though we just chose a different girl name- but I do want to go with options this time.. Hmmm
Wasn't there a poster with a boy named Rhys from our board on TB? She changed her name to Audrey something, I think.
My first thought was that I didn't like it but then I said it with your last name and I like it a lot. Though, the S's on the end of FN and LN slightly throw me off (am I thinking into it too much??). Anyways, I like it.

I like the name for a boy, and think the reason for the spelling is neat, but if I saw that I would have no clue how to say it. Reese would not come to mind at all.

No I thought about the S's too but I decided I think it's okay.

I know.. I think it is becoming more popular though so hopefully that will help. Also this doesn't bother me as much as not knowing how to pronounce a "youneek" or made up spelling since it is the real spelling.

I like how the FN and LN flow. Any ideas on a middle name?
Delaney and Mila are our top two girl names. Not that we'll have a girl though. Boy names are harder to pick, I think.
I would never think to pronounce it Reese. I would say Ris. I've never been a huge fan of Irish/Welsh spellings for names that are to be pronounce in English because it always feels like they, more than other languages, need a decoder ring. They never seem to correctly correspond with the letters being used.
Rhys is personally NMS, but I think it's nice. I would know how to pronounce it and it doesn't look weird to me because I've known that name forever from the actors Rhys Ifans and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
Rhys is not my style but it's a perfectly great name! I like it for you. I know a Rhys so the spelling doesn't look odd to me.
Taylore? Is that a unique spelling for Taylor or is it pronounced how it's spelled? I've never seen Taylore before.
Haha! You're back just in time for a name post! I don't think it's unique? Almost all the girl Taylor's I know are spelled with an e and I like the way it looks I guess... I know it's not popular. I also like the Jordyn spelling better which I know isn't popular on here or the bump but whatever

Oh, so it is Taylor! I have never seen it as an alternate for Taylor, I was saying Tay-LORE in my head. And yes, I love a good name thread! Taylore is definitely not my favorite choice for you, especially spelled that way, but I know we have very different taste in names.
I also forgot to mention I really like Rhys as a sibset for Delaney!

It's not my first choice either but it's the one that DH likes and I do like it. He's so picky!! I would prefer Olivia, Avery or Emerson but he says no He's also very picky about boys and only likes Rhys. I'm having a hard time getting over the single syllable thing... I don't know why

Tell him that you have to push the baby out of your vagina and carry it for 9 months so therefore you get slightly more of a say in names than he does! That's my logic anyway . I let my husband tell me his favorites from my list but that's about as far as I let it go haha.
I was confused by Taylore too. I thought it was Tay-Lore. My niece is Taylor so I'm just so used to that spelling so the 'E' looks weird to me. But I do like Jordyn! And if you guys like it, who cares if its not popular in the naming world. Its a perfectly good name!
I really like the spelling of Rhys. Much more masculine for a boy
Taylore I don't like as a spelling. I DO like Taylor for a girl. I have had some lovely Taylors as students. I've never seen it with the extra E. I agree that it makes the pronunciation different to me.
