OK whose child hates the water?

I am getting so sick of this! She used to love baths and now she doesn't, she HATES them. She screams so much. She seems truly scared. I don't get why she would now be so afraid of it? 

We have new bath toys, its a good temperature. We've tried a bit warmer and a bit cooler. We sing and try to make it "fun". But she just seems to really hate it.

Yesterday we were at the beach and she wouldn't go in, when a wave hit her feet she ran away. Then we brought her to a little pool of still water that formed by some rocks. She tolerated it when we sat in with her but she seemed still tense.

I don't get it, I don't know what to do. I had hubby give her the bath last night because I just couldn't deal with it. A couple nights ago I got in with her and she was ok with it but she still didn't enjoy it. She just seems to hate it.

DD loves water but some days shes just not having it. She'll cry the entire time shes in there.

Jason hates the water. He also used to like the bath but not now and I don't know what hapened to make his hate it.

We tried the pool last week and he cried when the water touched his feet. I was holding him and he kept pulling his feet up. Yesterday we went to the beach and when the water came up to him, he started crying and shaking:-(

My kid has climbed into the bathtub three times already today (in addition to his bath) and melted down when I wouldn't turn on the water. I'm so nervous that this will change at some point.

My friends baby went through this... They just kept attempting baths and one day she was fine. It was so weird but totally a phase for her. I hope it is for you too !

DD went through this for a really long time (I won't discourage you by saying how long). Have you tried bubbles?
