I can send them cargo via United Airlines´PetSafe program for about $1000 from Lima to Chicago. 

This service does essentially the same thing, except they handle the medical and paperwork for me, and well, for $10k.

No, sadly we aren´t. I love Chicago. 

My in-laws are in Iowa, and we are considering sending my dogs out there first, before we do the big move.
