I'm trying to get all of our clients to switch to paperless billing. This way I would send them their invoice(s) via email rather than waste money on postage and waste time stuffing envelopes.
I am planning on sending an insert with the next batch of invoices that says something to the effect of "If you would like to receive digital invoices or invoices by email, please email me at BLANK or return this insert with your next check."
Something about the wording seems off, can anyone help me make this sound better? Thanks in advance.

XYZ Company is going paperless! To have your bill sent to your inbox please email me at thisaddress or simply return this insert along with your check.
"We are switching to paperless billing within the next two billing cycles. You will receive your last paper bill on X date/X billing cycle. Our office will be contacting you between X and X dates to determine what electronic address you would like to receive your billing statements. If you do not have electronic mail service, please advise and we will make special arrangements for paper billing to be sent to you as in the past. Thank you for helping us to reduce our costs and keep the environment a little more green".
Can you tell that Sue Sue is a lawyer and I worked in a preschool?

I agree with not giving them the option straightaway. I have learned that most folks will keep things the same simply because they already have a procedure and don't want to mess with it if they don't have to. I like sue sue's version and would do something like that!
